As for the topic, Christmas isn't about Jesus dying or whatever, its about buying your step daughter something she'll like so they she'll finally accept you into the family as a replacement for her dead father.

Money money money, just like valentines day. As for me, I don't wait until a special day to buy something nice for someone I care about.

Exactly. I'm non-religious, I still celebrate christmas. Although I celebrate more for the family get together, and the approaching of the new year rather than what it is actually meant to be celebrated for.

Christmas has really lost its roots as a religious holiday, swept up in the tide of Commercialism.

It actually kinda sickens me to see people turn into crazed maniacs, trying to buy all this superfluous crap. Definitely one of my least favorite times of the year.
