It's worse, if you wind up supporting viewpoints you consider objectionable. You obviously don't object to porn, you just don't think the work would be very interesting. It's like passing up a job in middle management because it's boring and instead deciding to be the head chef for baby eaters.

Go to the first day. Don't judge them as being condescending, try to give them the benefit of the doubt. If it is the wrong kind of evangalizing, just walk out. Say you're not comfortable with it.
I don't think it's much the same, as long as they don't want you to be too extreme about the message.

Film the porn. People forcing their religion on others is the main problem with the world today. If everyone could keep their opinions/morals to themselves, society would be a MUCH happier place.

Porn is sometimes distasteful, whereas propaganda always is. But the issue we need to consider here is money. Money money money. I see no reason why you shouldn't film both propaganda and porn if it will get you money. However, since you refuse to film porn, I see filming propaganda as an infringement of your principles. If you did film porn, I'd see no issue with the propaganda. Two wrongs make a right, you see.
Okay, I voted yes, but I do need to clarify. Technically, shooting a video for church and shooting a porno are two completely different things, so, be you might wanna be careful with your wording, but I would say that if you do not wish to shoot such a short, don't do it.
I'm the same way. Catholic. Low-key. I actually believe that every religion has a piece of a greater understanding that we are not willing to accept. I mean, what if no religion is wrong or right, but a different perceptive of the same events?

To get back on track, I like to see it as the king from "Kingdom of Heaven" sees it. To badly paraphrase and twist a bit, here's the jist:
If you commit this act, and possibly die right after, and stand in the face of God, and he asks of you why you would help make such an arrogant statement that would potentially harm the faiths of others, how would you respond? "I did it to pay the bills". Now, in my belief, I don't think that would sit well with the big man upstairs...
So, just stick to what you believe. Act on what you believe is right, and you will have no regrets... well, I guess unless you find out that you're wrong, in which case, do whatever it takes to correct the mistake and learn from it. And then you will have no regrets.

There isn't much of a direct connection for the average religion or church but that doesn't mean there aren't similarities. In both cases you are trading on a basic human desire to create interest. Solace and sexuality are often very closely related.Gentile said:

Most casual film-makers sit in the art sector, while professionals TEND to move towards the latter option. At the end of the day, it's between entertainment (pornography) and propaganda (religious videos).
Arguably, by filming the religious video you're the same as any other jihadist, mujahedeen, Serb-Croat, IRA Republican or whatever else. By filming porn, you get money.
Considering your blinkered view however, I don't think you have the capacity to be professional. A committed film-maker would already have taken BOTH opportunities and done them to the absolute best of his ability. The very best DJs were formerly pirate DJs. Harrison Ford was a carpenter.

it's not like filming porn, but if it against what you believe, then don't do it. you have idealogical differences so don't argue with them.
