I first saw this show in 2005.
I loved the humor, the trash talk and making fans mad and send them hatemail.
But the show started going downhill around the time they stopped the funny annoucer guy.
Curious about your opinion.

I still watch it. I enjoy their reviews and think that they can be pretty funny. I find it a pretty reliable source for information related to games, and despite what lots of people think, I think that it's an all around good show.

X-Play won't die, well soon anyway. They have alot of good ideas and as long as the reviews stay true I'll keep watching.

I still love the reviews but the show as a whole has been going downhill
I hope it stays alive because this is still one of my favorite shows to watch

It ain't dead, but it lost much of its quality when they remade the set in 2005 or 2006.

no X-Play as a show isnt dying, but it is trying to become more mainstreamed and attract a larger audience, and in the process losing what made them a smash hit in the first place .and X Play without Adam is like Scrubs without Janitor

and does anyone else watch their old shows at like 10 AM during the week?

The show isn't as awsome as it used to be, but it is still a good show. Plus most of there podcasts are pretty good, especialy "The MMO Report" and "Sessler's Soapbox"

p.s.if you haven't seen the most recent soapbox then you should pobably check it out, this week Adam puts the rabid fanboys in their place.

They died in my eyes when they became a "Gaming News" show. Look at X-Play back in 2005, then compare it to today.

Epic Fail among Epic Failure.

It's dead to me. When they gave Too Human a 4 out of 5 and Star Wars: The Force Unleashed a 2 out of 5, my faith in that show died a horrible death. Adam is still King Awesome and Morgan is still very attractive (I don't give a flying fuck about her jaw), but I don't trust the reviews very much anymore. I'll watch it every now and again for whatever reason, like seeing gameplay footage of Street Fighter IV, but I pay little attention to the reviews.

It was funny, now it is less funny.

I miss the skits they did about the games. They are still there, but not as much, or as funny

I miss canadian guy, and drunk link

No. It has just matured...but I don't like it anymore. The reviews are better and the content to be fair is more gaming involved...but I'd rather it be a couple of reviews and a lot of bullshitting. You know, like back in the day when Morgan looked like a punk rocker.

I agree, same with me.

I've basically given Xplay up, but I still watch Sessler's Soapbox. He's the only game journalist I really trust.
