x-play needs to review more goddamn games again, they keep talking about shit related to games, but not the games themselves as much anymore.... and all G4 does now is play Attack of the show, cops, outrageous videos, and cheaters now anyway... I stopped watching the whole network pretty much.

Ya, I'd say X-Play's corpse is all but rotten at this point. I was sad the last time they "shifted formats" to become a 30 minute gaming news show, and then I saw Blare Herder on one night and, well... what a tool.

I'll still watch a review or two of theirs on the G4 site every now and again, but whats with all the reviews being 2 minutes long? Comes and goes before I can even tell what they're saying about the game.

I do however watch Sessler's Soapbox nearly every Wednesday, and IMO it's fantastic. X-Play however, seems to have finally watered down and destroyed by G4.

Down with G4, long live the Sess.

I still watch it. I enjoy their reviews and think that they can be pretty funny. I find it a pretty reliable source for information related to games, and despite what lots of people think, I think that it's an all around good show.
I echo this sentiment. It's one of the few television shows I actually tune in to on a regular basis, because it's a good source of news and reviews, and it gets stuff even sooner than the review sites and magazines. Plus, it's downright entertaining.

In all fairness, X-Play is what brought me to The Escapist with the previews of ZP, but I have to agree. They've lost a lot of their teeth for me. I used to enjoy the humor and there were plenty of reviews in EVERY episode. Now it just feels kinda blah IMO.

Once they aquired self respect due to G4's rising popularity, i lost interest. They used to constantly make fun of themselves and how no one likes their show and how they have no friends, which was really really funny. But now they are all popular, and they know it. Remember when they used to do like 4 or 5 Reviews per show?
