this poll is pretty useless don't you think? if you want to accurately measure 'something' in context at least. if not and you just wanted to attach something people could click on then ignore this :p.

but this way the amount of people voting 'men' doesn't mean that they are gay, they could be votes by women, and the people voting for 'women' could be straight guys or gay girls.

Conglaturations!

As for me, I'll stick to my healthy interest in women and my not-so-easily-explainable hobby to write yuri...

That's just something feminazis and the media like to tell you. No, women don't date/sleep with men because they pity or settle for them, yes they actually do enjoy sex with men, and yes, they find men of their personal preference physically attractive. I've got lots more common sense revelations if you'd like some.
I recognize the truth of what you're saying. I just don't have the perspective necessary to understand it.

At the same time, you roughly doubled the amount of people you can conceivably date. That's pretty cool.
More like ten percent, considering the majority of people aren't in to their own gender. And like you said you lose the monosexuals that are put off by the idea.

As for me, its a maybe Bisexual. I know I like girls, and I've been attracted to guys (not just famous ones ether), but I can't confirm if I would have sex with a guy. So whatever, I just keep on rolling with it. Whatever happens will happen.
I agree... hence the qualifier "conceivably" ;D

From all I've read on the subject, biological male bisexuality doesn't exist and is a purely psychogenic phenomenon. Again, that's subject to trollstorm. If you're a dude who likes both, you're probably either just gay or just straight + confused (according to the research, anyway). If you're a chick who likes both, the research actually indicates you may be in the majority (the research on that one is a real funny one).
I've heard none of this study, I have heard of this study though.

Its more than just three things, bisexuals have different levels of preferences.
In any case I know I'm in to women, so I'm not gay. I'm also In to monogamy, so I'll eventually stay with one person, and by the transitive property, one gender. Then whether or not I'm bisexual will be a moot point anyways.

I a heterosexual male, and I cant ever see that change...

I just find male part repulsive... It extends to such a degree that I cant enjoy porn, as it almost always involves a man... WWHHHYYYY!?

So on the bright side I don't have to go though the struggle some people has to.

On the not so bright side, it also means that I will probably never get sexually involved with anyone but my hands and socks.

The hardest part about being Bi is that you are neither gay nor straight (American Societies two standard options)... In theory you'd think this would be the perfect option for all-inclusiveness but in practice it tends to be more isolating. While you get to share somethings with all groups you also guarantee that you will not fully agree with either main group.

Not that I would change myself if I could as personally I couldn't see any other option in life but... it's strange to be viewed as an outsider in both camps.

Eurgh, my sexuality is dull, just women. Yeah, another straight man, just what humanity needs with it's dwindling population. We should really put ourselves on the endangered species list.

Not that I haven't contemplated my sexuality a few times in my life, and settled more than once on a position of straight until body informs me otherwise. Truth be told I'm still at that position, if I started having feelings for a cute red-headed hyacinth I wouldn't argue with myself because I voted "women" on the escapist.

Too much exposition, but I don't like short messages =P

Right, well, that's kind of the point. If you could find men attractive you'd never put up with the crap women do.

What? Seriously?

How come this guy can get away with posting an entire thread about something as trivial and common as bisexuality when I get labeled an attention-whore for posting a thread about my love for a fictional dog!? *rages and kicks something on my way out*

OP: No offense against you or anything. You seem real cool and all.
It's probably a difference in how society takes the difference between the two. Being bisexual and homosexual are becoming more accepted in today's culture while being interested in a fictional dog isn't. To bad it has to be that way.
True, but you are obviously not like that. You didn't have to accept me and you don't gain anything by doing it, and you might have gained more support if you tried to be witty on my expense instead of replying in a respectful manner just now. So there are exceptions :)
Ai, there are exceptions. I'm looking forward to the day that people stop worrying about what category of sexuality they fall into and what they're "supposed" to like and just be interested in things.

I find this image does a great job of how I see the whole deal.

I plan on dating a girl at some point in my future. At the moment I'm by myself because I'm too lazy and shy to go out and get a girl, lol.

I have seen guys that I would have sex with, but the parts that make me prefer them to other guys are their markedly feminine aspects. Hairy, buff men turn me off. So do hairy, buff women... I guess my sexuality is really determined by body shape and grooming habits, rather than gender. Guess I'm bi then? Not a terribly important question to me. I know I like women, and I'm in a very loving relationship with one now <3

Er, deep thought and reflection? It's pretty much a linear business for me.

Boner? Yes / No

So you've just fully realised your sexuality (indicating that there may be a fair portion of people who still don't know where they stand), and yet you don't add an asexual/none of the above option? Just so you know, I don't really know where I sit (I figure my sex drive isn't strong enough at this point to really allow for any form of proper distinction),so I c't actually vote for any of those, sorry.

I realized I was bi at the time I got Metal Gear Solid 3. I know, I know, I'm ready to catch flak, but Big Boss is the first man I ever had attracted feelings for. For me, it's more of a personality than an appearance thing, and since, I have tried to find men (while still dating women) that fit the bill. And I have a couple times.

Bottom line, the way I see it, I'm trying to find love, and if I increase my demographic from about 50% of the species to nearly 100%, well, chances are I will...or just get more confused...

I can be classified as Bi technically, but I could never have a romantic relationship with another guy, I just couldn't be able to
