it was impressive she caused the article to get changes and even a little note added, she then asked to get banned....Copper Zen said:during which he specifically referred to girls and women who do on line sex shows as "Cam Whores".
Boudica just LOST it.
She raged at him in the story's comments section then raged at him in the Mod Forum chat room.
She reeeeeeeaaaaaaaalllllly LOST it.
She ended up getting something like 3 warnings in a row--I don't recall, but according to what I heard from one of the others she ended up requesting a ban.
That's what I remember--and what I recall being told. It's been a couple of months so someone else might remember more about it.
My god! I loved that person! She was as "unique" as Zeel was angry! I never understood what the guy was saying but I loved ever minute of it. hahaTopazFusion said:Oh! I've got a good one. Mythrandia!
Have a read of this.
Still not sure if that was a troll or what...
She was...interesting. She really loved Japanese bullet shooters, didn't she?Vault101 said:hey anyone remember lilithslave? I know she wanst banned but her "dramatic exit"

Yeah she was quite a interesting person to say the leastTopazFusion said:Yeah, she went insane over the term 'cam whores'.Soviet Heavy said:And there was Boudicca, who left a strange impression to begin with before she went insane.
Holy cow, that was Avykins.Zombie_Fish said:OT: I remember plenty of those who were banned, though very few I would say I actually miss (WanderFreak and Hope Chest are the main ones I miss, if anyone remembers them). I would list some but most of the ones I know have either already been mentioned or don't deserve more attention than what they got before banning. I will, however, offer a single gold dubloon to anyone who can guess the banned user who had this avatar [http://cdn.themis-media.com/media/global/images/library/deriv/132/132187.gif].
Don't suppose it was Demented Teddy was it?Quaxar said:Just thought maybe you remembered her, since you brought up Furburt and Hub. But I guess I don't really have much to go by and I don't care enough to go through forum archives to dig up clues. Let's let the dead rest in piece.
Hah, NeonBob, get burned at the stake? That's about as likely as me suddenly upping my posting habit to 100 a dayCopper Zen said:NeonBob is another Poster I've heard of. Whatever happened to him/her?EscapeGoat said:- this was back in 2009, before User Groups and even counts of like 2500, 3000 and 5000 were massive milestones, unless you were NeonBob![]()
Man, I remember Commi, but I thought he just changed his Username. Didn't realise he got banned afterwards as well.lemby117 said:yeah I miss red comi, he got serious burns or something, left his nuzlocke run to die and then changed his profile name and went completly off the rails.
Holy cow, wasn't that Avykins? Guy trolled the crap out of quite a lot of people, if I recall correctly.Zombie_Fish said:I will, however, offer a single gold dubloon to anyone who can guess the banned user who had this avatar [http://cdn.themis-media.com/media/global/images/library/deriv/132/132187.gif].
Pararaptor [http://www.escapistmagazine.com/profiles/view/Pararaptor]? It's possible he's on Mellow Leprechauns with Furburt and Hubilub, but I wouldn't know for sure.Caramel Frappe said:One of them in particular really disliked me I believe, but I hold no grudge. He was seemingly nice to people he befriended, but to me .. it was sort of harsh lol. I don't exactly remember his name but it had Raptor in it and the Avatar was of a disturbed but smiling guy. If I actually saw him on again or on another site, I wouldn't mind saying hello and catch up if possible.
Yeah, I know what you mean; the site does feel different. Not good different, but not bad different either, to me. I mean, I started lurking from the end of 2007, and the site had a totally different atmosphere (as well as, of course, an entirely different line-up of people, pretty much all of them now left). I seem to remember 2009-2010 being maybe a little more abrasive thanks to the grumpy celebrities, and the forums today do suffer a large number of the 'in' topics, most of which are worrying in content, but all in all they're easy to ignore.Caramel Frappe said:Yep that's him. Ah, I remember him like it was just yesterday ... this site feels different then it was before. Like I said, perhaps I grew into it allowing me to know what's appropriate to say and what to avoid at all costs lol. Also you're not old, you are a great addition here and I wish I actually joined in 2008- I missed out on a lot of events to undertake.EscapeGoat said:Pararaptor [http://www.escapistmagazine.com/profiles/view/Pararaptor]? ...shit, this thread makes me feel old and miserable.
Well aren't you just the nicest? :3Caramel Frappe said:Also you're not old, you are a great addition here and I wish I actually joined in 2008- I missed out on a lot of events to undertake.
For what it's worth, I hope not. Surely it's far better to become known for being a great poster, with well constructed and eloquent arguments, a positive outlook, the ability to reply to abusive or argumentative posters with grace and tact and a willingness to help any other forumites? It's harder, but it's got to be better than being known for being abusive and then getting banned.xshadowscreamx said:e few tears i do shed as i walk down forum road. the history i missed and scandals i was not aware of. maybe ill be in my own scandal one day.
On one hand I was annoyed that he was trolling my thread, on the other hand people coming to see him and hazy argue may be the only reason my simple build advice thread go so many views, so in a way I actually owe him.thesilentman said:Come... Let us remember... THE BANNED.
Okay, I'll be frank. I missed one person. Only one.
That person is cotss2012. I enjoyed his posts and the thread where he got banned was entertaining.
Whoa how did I miss that? I remember her quite well, always had to use all my willpower to not reply, because I knew arguing with her would get me nowhere. Can't say i'm sad she's gone.Vault101 said:hey anyone remember lilithslave? I know she wanst banned but her "dramatic exit"

mostly just stupid stuff on my part...though once for using the "troll" word...and another for swear so much when I thourght I could get away with language (and I was partly quoting yahtzee at the time)major_chaos said:OT: As others have said, Mortai Gravesend and Mathew94 will be missed. The rule against calling people trolls has got to be the one rule on the escapist I disagree wit. I can kinda see why it exists, to prevent a GFAQs type situation where everyone who disagrees with you is a "troll" but I still say if it walks like a duck, and it quacks like a duck, I think I should be allowed to call it a duck.Vault101 said:mostly just stupid stuff on my part...though once for using the "troll" word...and another for swear so much when I thourght I could get away with language (and I was partly quoting yahtzee at the time)major_chaos said:OT: As others have said, Mortai Gravesend and Mathew94 will be missed. He's actually been unbanned if you go to his profile, but he doesn't know. He hasn't been here since October.PsychicTaco115 said:I'll always remember Sean Hollyman, for his interesting threads
Alas, he deserved his banning. The temptation to quickly get the Neo badge is too strong for some to bare
