Well, unless the person gets banned on low content, of course.

Well obviously... MaxTheReaper... he who shall not be named... never knew him... but he will forever be apart of the Escapists history... he went down in a blaze of hatred and rage...<.<

To this day I still am completely unable to tell whether they were a boy or a girl... perhaps we will never know...<.<

Was their avatar actually a picture of them?

He might've had a different one before that, but that's the one I remember...<.<

Well Zeel was fun.

But besides that, at least those who got banned for breaking the rules, there isn't anyone I would say I particularly missed to a huge degree.

Man, Zeel was one of a kind guy. He'd been on BSN for almost a year and everyone knew him and his escapades. He'd been banned and banned over and over again, and each time he came back with a slightly different nickname. The funny part is - you need a game licence linked to the account in order to post. I wonder how many games he bought to keep posting..?

Oh yeah I remember her... I really didn't like her... more than a few times she'd take take one of my posts, flame and accuse me of things that weren't even hinted at in my posts... even when I was just making a joke... <.>

Also, anyone remember Demented Teddy?

I remember how huge of a deal it was when she was banned.. had public backlash and everything... it was ridiculous... with that whole strike where people were changing their avy to the cover of, I Have No Mouth, But I Must Scream...<.<

Raktheundead made me rage like never before. I can't believe it took so long to ban him. He was disgustingly sexist and small minded, every post made me want to blow my own brains out.

Most of them I just ignore because they're usually bored kids.

Just thought maybe you remembered her, since you brought up Furburt and Hub. But I guess I don't really have much to go by and I don't care enough to go through forum archives to dig up clues. Let's let the dead rest in piece.

But Darkspectar was always fun in the forum games. He just had that sense of humor that can be mistaken for abuse. Tone is really hard to convey over the internet.

Yeah that and by his third suspension he might as well have been calling out the mods by name and laying out as many specific insults he could before the ban hammer came...<.<

Not to mention he was starting to make mParadox kind of uncomfortable... if I remember correctly... so I'm sure some of his mod friends took notice after that...

Also, what happened to like Cherry Cola and Sleekgiant, and Jack and Calumon, and Onyx Oblivion, and Julian King, and Neon Bob, and Aby_z... haven't seen any of them around in forever... I wonder if any of them got banned... I remember they all used to be staples of the escapist... much like Yureina used to be... but that was a long time ago...<.<

Plus many of "the lost" are because they were, indeed, lost. They did what they did and got what they got; justice is served in my consideration.

To be fair, this is true. It is worth remembering that most people who are banned now were banned for a good reason. Still, there's no harm in at least acknowledging their existence.

Hah, she was that. I always found it rather amusing but then again I was never involved in any debates against her. I always preferred to lurk and watch thread-drama rather than post and contribute to it.

Cherry Cola (Hub) requested a ban (I think it was a request anyway), Sleekgiant, Aby_z, Julianking and Onyx are still around but not frequent posters and Jack and Calumon is still around (he posted in the Pub Club yesterday in fact) and NeonBob still posts in Forum Games, as always.

I swear it wasn't long ago that I saw a thread petitioning to see the place where the banned go... Nope probably just my imagination.

OT: I don't really see the reason for remembering the banned. No really I don't. If they didn't make any positive or lasting impression on me whilst they were still active and ended up getting banned for a legitimate reason then why would I remember them? (Apart from learning from their mistakes that is.)

So yea... I got nobody on my "Remember the Banned list"...

I don't know about the rest but I think that Jack and Calumon are not banned. I believe I remember him posting in a thread either last month or back in October. Although haven't seen him since then.

As much fun as i have here i wouldn't say i've missed anyone thats been banned, how ever...

I would love a page dedicated to all those with 50+ post count show casing the posts that got them banned, not gonna lie some of the shit that people have said and got banned for or suspended is down right hilarious and i have a good chuckle in their suffering.

While I don't understand how his ultimate posts got him banned, I shall remember Karutomaru for his opinions like Capcom being the best developer, and that gaming is dying because of lack of Wii core game support. And the fact that in almost every thread he commented in, he would respond to everyone's answers he disagreed with, just to say that they're wrong.

Concerning how ^^? most comedy is at someone elses expense in some shape or form?

I would consider being banned and dis allowed to post in a group is a form of exclusion and no one likes being excluded and there for suffers?

Hmm, not surprised to see a fair few mourning R&P regulars here.

Only ones I recall being sad to see go are @Khell_Sennet and @Pirate Kitty. Everyone else I like/respect still seem to be around, or have left of their own accord.

Well, I'll remember [user]Mortai Gravesend[/user]. They even removed his profile.

Why did they do that? Is it possible that Mortai Gravesend erased his own profile, if that's even possible?

You can't remove your own profile, only the staff can do that.

Though I'm not entirely sure why it happens to some banned people, but not others.

The infamous [user]MaxTheReaper[/user] has an inaccessible profile, so does HG131 which JoJo linked above.

Not really. I don't really speak to people here and the ones I do miss generally just stopped posting over time. Of those that are banned there are few that posted enough for me to know and that I found likable people. Most of the banned ones were the type to post more controversial things which annoyed me more often than not.

There has been quite a few of The Banned. I actually would not have remembered most of them if it wasn't for this thread. I was lurking on this site for almost a year before I joined it, and it certainly does feel different than it did before.

Oh well. So many people banned, yet I somehow survive. LIVIN ON THE EDGE

Boudica didn't get banned in the fiery fashion that most others do. She actually went to the mod group and requested that her account be banned. It was her choice.

OT: I miss Boudica, Mortai Gravesend, and Sean Hollyman, the others just had an.... interesting run.
