Not a huge chocolate fan, but brownies beat cake any day.

Oh, and brownies right out of the oven = happiness in my mouth.
aye, most pastries are at their best right out of the oven. as for brownies over cake, it depends upon the brownies and cake in question. it could easily go either way really.

Love brownies. Wish I was better at baking them.

Alas, I'm not very good at baking brownies, so I'm stuck with muffins, 'cause those I can actually bake without the kitchen dramatically exploding out of protest.

Brownies are my favorite food I know i shouldn't be eating after one or two they just make me lazy tired and a little bloated. Warm chewy center crunch edges and firm yet delicate main body is sometimes worth the feeling.

Brownies are much more concentrated and efficient than cake. Forget all that stupid spongy cake stuff, it's just solid chocolate mix stuff. And I love chocolate.

Then again, I'm bias because EVERY brownie I've eaten is dry and reminds me of chalk.
First of all, you're biased. I don't normally get all 'grammar nazi', but I really must insist on this one. You can't be "bias". "Bias" means a skewed point of view. You can't be one, you can only have one.

Secondly, if every brownie you've ever had is chalky and dry, then whoever is making your brownies sucks at it. A good brownie is moist and delicious.

And yes, I do love brownies. There's this Ghirardelli (I think that's how you spell it) brownie mix that is a cinch to prepare. Mix it up, and in about an hour, you can have some damn good homemade brownies.

God, I want a brownie now.

Life just wouldn't be complete without brownies. Cupcakes are good but brownies can just be amazing, even the plain ones.

Brownies are awesome, I didn't think it was possible to hate them. It's the only 'treat' I ever nearly got sick on. Though I haven't had any in a long long time ....hmm...

I love Brownies! Only chocolate brownies though (if there even is another kind) because that's the only kind I've ever tried. They are also my #1 favourite dessert to make and eat.

This is a thread for all of you who clicked on threads that said "bronies" but read it as "brownies".

Personally, I don't see the appeal of brownies. I mean it's cake in rectangle form. Pointless really, I just make the damn cake and eat the delicious crust. Then again, I'm bias because EVERY brownie I've eaten is dry and reminds me of chalk.

So, yay or nay on the brownies? Explain.

You know there are sick fucks out there that think of mixing in weed with brownies?

I like weed as much as the next man, but adulterating the sweet succulent taste of such divine chocolate stodgy heaven... that just ain't right.

I suggest you make your own browning, not the crappy brownies made by stoners who are more interested in getting high than making REAL brownies. They should be stodgy yet firm with a crispy caramelised crust.

Aren't double chocolate chip cookies just regular chocolate chip cookies made with brownie mix instead?

Either way, I still stand on the brownie side of the battle. Hard to beat a fresh batch out of the oven, specially if I can find some vanilla ice cream to top it off with.
