Straight, don't care what anyone else does. One think I hate about college life is that every fifth event seems to be something about homosexuals. We get it, you're gay, I'm okay with it, let's move on.

Surprisingly large proportion against homosexuality on what is an extremely liberal site, (yes I know its only 3 at the time of posting but thats still quite a lot of bigotry and prejudice hanging around). Incidentaly what are your thoughts on the age that a person can decide on their sexuality, cos my friend came out as bi-sexual at 14 and I think thats a bit early to be honest.

Straight here, and one of my beat mates is gay. I've long lived in the belief that everyone should be treated the same, so I don't have an aversion to gay people.

Also, I think lesbians are awesome, so i can't really have a problem with gay guys.
what is it with lesbians anyway? dosen't any one else find it weird that 99% of straight males find female homosexuality more attractive than .. well any other sexuality

Well.. good for you, not really understanding your enthuasism, but hey, to each his/her own.

I'm straight, and I look at as, I'm fine with gays, I just wouldn't like it too much if a gay guy started hitting on me. Also, I have gay friends, mostly girls, but a few guys aswell.

Fun Fact Learned in my Psyche Class:

There was a study done on male homosexuality; they brought in some men, asked what their stance was on homosexuality, and then showed them various pornographic videos, measuring their sexual arousal.

Most men who said that they were straight and who had no real issues about homosexuality showed arousal from videos featuring straight sex and lesbian sex.

Most men who said that they were straight and were opposed to homosexuality showed arousal from videos featuring GAY MAN SEX.

Obviously this is NOT the case for ALL homophobic men, but it makes you wonder...thou doth protest too much?

Good for you?

Coming from a Christian, I'm totally and absolutely fine with homosexuality and bisexuality, just as long they don't throw around their sexual identification and whine when someone bites you in the ass for it ;)

I'm straight and I'm perfectly fine with homosexuality. And surprisingly, I have no more problems with homosexual public displays of affection than I do with straight ones. If two guys or two girls are in public and they kiss or hold hands then that's fine by me, just as if they were straight and opposite genders. For example, while walking to university the other day, I was walking behind two girls holding hands. One of them had the rainbow symbol stitched onto her bag, so I guessed that they were lesbian or bisexual. Whether I'm right or not, it doesn't matter. What matters is that if two people love each other and want to be together then they should, regardless of their gender.

I'm straight.
How people like to butter their bread is their decision not mine although some homosexual practices I do find unusual like cottaging is their some kind of housing shortages among gay men why can't they do that stuff back at home.

I'm straight, albeit with very little impetus to do anything much, and quite happily of the opinion that people can do whatever the hell they like. It's all good, whatever makes y'all happy.

I realised I was gay about eight months ago, around the time I turned twenty. It was a pretty hard thing for me, because up until then I'd been almost violently homophobic and completely intolerant. Coming out to my best friend was one of the hardest things I've ever done, and I've still not told my family; they're very strict christians, and I'm terrified they'll react badly.

So, my experience in the LGBT world so far has been one of denial, repression, internalized homophobia, a complete mindfuck, and eight months of worry.
1. Tell them you're an Atheist instead
2. Next say only joking i'm really Gay instead
3. ?????
4. Profit

It depends on the person. Some are more sure than others. One of my flatmates is gay, and he says he can trace it back to as early as five years old (though of course he didn't know what it was at the time). I had my first crush on another girl (my teacher actually, but thats hardly relevant) when I was about 13, but the "fuck, Im a lesbian" realisation didn't come for about another seven years.

Some people know. Some don't. It happens differently for everyone.

Well I don't really see any problems with any of it. All this religious nonsense about how it is an abomination actually gives me a brain hemorrhage.

Im straight and Im not against homosexuals or Bisexuals aslong as they dont go on about it or act stereotypical.

I have gay friends but its only because they act like a normal men, not the ones who speak in high pitched tones and say "Oh my goddddd" to everything whilst wearing incredibly tight trousers and talking about how good How to look good naked was last night. Not being offensive but seriously, being gay doesnt automatically make you look and sound like a complete tit.
