It happened to me twice and it was fucking awesome
To bad I can only scarcely remember the 2 dreams.

I have never paid attention to that, but it seems to be true. There was a dream where i was just living my ordinary life and doing the same thing I do everyday and then i looked in the mirror and noticed that my brothers and sisters ayes were red. I turned around i said that that was just a dream and that i'm going to open my ayes, then i ''opened'' my ayes, but everything changed colors and nothing changed. I was so scared. I thought that they were some kind of monsters or something.WestMountain said:Heres a tip when lucid dreaming: avoid mirrors, if you look at your reflection while in a dream theres a big chance that it will turn into a nightmare
You are referring to Out of Body Experiences(OBEs). I have had one or two of them. It usually when I am in a hypnagogic state. I can see through my eyelids while I am sleeping and travel around my room.Ryuk2 said:I always know that I'm dreaming, but i don't consider those as lucid dreams.
People say to me that it's lucid dream when you can go where ever you like and do whatever you want. Some say that you can go out of your body and see all the world while being asleep. I have never had those, so no, i have not had those lucid dreams.
You are correct! You're melatonin levels are much higher after sleeping for a few hours. It's related to the sun in some way. Set your alarm to wake up around dawn, then get up and walk around for a bit and go back to bed. Concentrate on wanting to lucid dream and nothing else. Picture yourself becoming lucid in a dream. The success rate from studies is extremely high with this method, known as MILD.Orcus_35 said:it is said that dreams often happen at dawn;
There is technology being used already to initiate them. It uses a series of flashing lights that just permeate through your eyelids while you sleep, letting you know you're dreaming.Standby said:It's quite an interesting concept, who knows with improvements in technique and technology it might one day be possible to initiate lucid dreams at will, although if you can decide what happens is there much point in living in the real world?
