KoToR 2 ended at Malacor. the game was not finished. I know how you feel. the game felt really deep in the beginning and middle, then you just kind of kill 2 sith lords like little kittens and have an argument that REALLY didn't clear much up for me with Ka...whatever the fuck her name was.theonlyblaze2 said:Gotta go with Mass Effect because of the new universe. I had already seen all that there was to see in Star Wars, but everything in Mass Effect was new and strange. Also, KOTOR 2....eh, so much badness.
P.S. Can someone please tell me how KOTOR 2 ended? I finished it, but I don't really feel like the story was over. Maybe I missed something.
Our Lord Inglip has commanded us to solve the riddle of Ednesen. It shall be done.Psiboom said:On another note,

Who want's to help me solved the case, codenamed: EDNESEN (DUN, DUN, DUN!!!)
The kinda copped out with the ending of Sith Lords...Basically the Exile get her palmed read by Kreia. And The Exile takes the Ebon Hawk goes to the Outer Rim in search of Revan and presumably finds him, horrible flat ending.theonlyblaze2 said:Gotta go with Mass Effect because of the new universe. No, they reskinned Star Trek. Don't think so? Think Bioware doesn't know what they did?Ian Nelson said:Does anyone else think KotOR was Mass Effects mother? Same developer, interestingly similar setting. BioWare has made their own Star Wars Universe! It's important to be new and innovative but how new and innovative WAS it?
I have to say that I love KotOR and its one of my favorite games of last generation. I do prefer ME because it shows how much the developer has grown since KotOR and I fucking hate bioware for the choice near the end that came out of left field and I did not expect it in the least bit.WrongSprite said:Most of Biowares games are incredibly similar. And I prefer ME to KOTOR, couldn't stand the latter.
....Yeah, I can see that happening in the future. Lucas would put it as a comedy and make it "meta and self-referential". Don't give the old money grubber any more ideas!j-e-f-f-e-r-s said:It's like George Lucas, instead of finishing the original trilogy with ROTJ (my personal favourite of the original three), instead choosing to make an ongoing Reality TV program (subscription based), set 300 years after the fall of the Empire, with just one episode dedicated to explaining just how Luke, Leia and Chewie rescued Han, redeemed Vader, and managed to destroy the Emperor.
The Citadel is rather similar to Babylon 5. Well, sort of.plugav said:So, is it just me, or does ME draw A LOT of inspiration from Babylon 5?Bara_no_Hime said:I prefer Farscape and Babylon 5.![]()
Aside from the Citadel, I thought of the Normandy being a bit like the White Star, and the First Contact War being a bit like the Minbari War, and the Collector General (ME2)looking like a Shadow, and Shepard sharing some characteristics with both Sinclair and Sheridan... A lot of little details, hidden and mixed but still somewhat familiar.Bara_no_Hime said:The Citadel is rather similar to Babylon 5. Actually, Farscape was where I was thinking. Chiana was sort of similar to an Asari.
Only if you also consider Star Wars to be a Star Trek rip-off.rembrandtqeinstein said:ME really is just the star wars universe with the serial numbers filed off
