I admit that part of the reason I made this thread was to protest my recent warnings and probation at my meme-posting, showing that most Escapists either don't care or partake in the lulz.

It depends on the meme, and where I'm at for said meme. I generally try to avoid cross contaminating my memes from one place to another. Fark memes are for Fark, something awful memes are for something awful, and 4chan is where I go when I want my brain to melt.

I don' mind them. If used right they add to the hilarity(sp?) of the situation, but if just "Used" then they are pointless.

I think it's stupid that the mods warn/probation people for memes, considering that not only do a large portion of Escapists have memes in their avatars but they're, well...fun. It seems kind of fascist to me to say "no you can't post that" when it's not offensive or anything. Hell, look at the poll results. Nearly all Escapists either don't care or like memes.
