I'm seeing a lot of people hating on WoW's new expansion, Mists of Pandaria.
Can't understand it, myself.
I've watched Blizzcon via a virtual ticket, and what I've seen of MoP so far is AWESOME. Super pumped about it.
I've seen most of the arguments both for and against Mists of Pandaria, and as much as I respect Blizzard and am excited about MoP, I can see where the haters are coming from. Sort of.
I just wanted to very quickly run through the biggest complaints I've seen thus far, and my counter-argument:
Aaand... that's it? Those seem to be the big three.
This post asks a two part question; 1, How do you feel overall about MoP, and 2, Do you want to elaborate on the previous point, or say what you personally like/dislike about MoP?
I don't want the general WoW haters, you aren't welcome - this is for the players and enthusiasts, the people who recently left and those who are still going strong, NOT the people who never liked WoW in the first place.

- PANDAS? Are you serious? This will ruin WoW.
+ I think Blizzard messed up when they announced (did they? I'm not a 100% sure) Pandaren as a joke race in the new expansion. That was a bad move, especially if they were planning on releasing it at a later stage. But as for the concept of anthropomorphic pandas, is that were we draw the line? Tauren and Worgen didn't seem to get much hate (as far as I'm aware, Tauren don't get any hate at all), so what's the problem with Pandaren?

- The new talent system is going to ruin WoW!
+ Seriously? The new talent system looks fucking kick-ass! What would you rather be - a Arms Warrior, a Fury Warrior, a Protection Warrior... or your own damn Warrior? Would you rather be fitted into a 'mold' and go online to check for the best build, or would you rather choose what you give your character to fit your playstyle? I know which one I want.

- POKEMON IN WoW? OMG, THIS-
+ Gonna stop you right there. I have to point out that the Pet Battle System (that's it's name, right?) if just like, say, the Love Is In The Air quests - it's there for people who want to do it, but if you don't want to, it's cool, you don't have to. WoW won't force players to do the whole Pet Battle System thing, just like the game doesn't force you to do the Love Is In The Air quests. I can see the "It's insulting that they would put something like this into my game" argument, but then again, they have fishing. Fishing, for christ sake - you sit there, waiting for your bobber to... bob, and then you maybe get a fish. And nobody has a problem with that, as far as I know.
