I think you're misunderstanding; the logic doesn't make you wrong or me (as I like inverted) right, it's there to serve as the reason that inverters such as myself tend to prefer that setup. I think the fact that the word "argument" was used at all here has caused a lot of misconception. There's no argument to be had, it's a personal preference that can't be changed through any amount of reasoning.
In any case, I agree with a post mentioned near the beginning; In first person, I'm controlling the head, and I move it forward to look down, and backward to move up. (y-axis only inverted) When it's third person, I'm controlling the camera behind the person, and it moves accordingly. (both axes inverted)
