Poll: MW2 PC hate overblown? YES!

They made a rehash of CoD4 that has worse balance, worse multiplayer features, worse singleplayer story, worse maps, AND costs more. And stuck in the ridiculously silly looking and annoying 'blood' (more like jam) splatter all over the screen.

So basicially, because a minority of PC gamers threw a big tantrum the majority who quietly ignored the game have overreacted?

The modern warfare 2 hate is perfectly justified, it's the sixth call of duty game (not counting expansions) and for some reason morons gobble it up and shower it with awards. It did nothing new, took out features and cost more than previous titles, and the worst part is that people though that this subpar game is somehow the best EVAR!!1

The hate is perfectly justified, I won't apologize for thinking it's a shit game anymore than I would for not liking the fucking Jonas Brothers..

I think people should be pissed, so what if they overreacted? They are not everyone. I don't know why the dedicated server thing is bad, but I do know the price hike was BS. Not to mention that I think that people give it way to much credit. It isn't the best game ever as far as I can tell. I think that IW pulled a dick move with the price and figured they could get away with it because of their fan base. I'm glad that there are people complaining about it.

I don't play on the PC, but it doesn't take a scientist to figure out that they messed it up. The main problem is the servers. A lot of modded games happen on PC which adds so much fun to games, and for the biggest entertainment release of anything, PC players don't get to mod. It really sucks considering how much fun people had with mods on CoD 4.
By the way, both CoD 4 and CoD 2 are getting more play hours on the PC than MW2.

It's a good game. Plain and simple. The campaign was good, albeit short, the multiplayer is excellent... All they need to work on is ironing out the balance issues and GETTING RID OF THE FUCKING HACKERS AND EXPLOITERS I SWEAR TO FUCKING GOD I- Eheh...hehehe..... PC gamers have been spoiled elitist brats for a long while now. Seems like they all feel they should get the Team Fortress 2 treatment. (Or at least the ones petitioning against this game.)

Fortunately companies seem to be favoring console gaming, which I always felt more immersive anyway with vibration feedback and superior graphics. It's a good shooter, probably (no experience) improved by the mouse and keyboard interface and people should just accept it for what it is: a console port. A near direct one; no privileges are on the consoles that isn't on the PC. They're just complaining they didn't get the extra stuff? Boo-hoo.

Not really flaming. I'm not a PC gamer myself, but I know there are some great games there. But I've read plenty of stuff to suggest that the gaming hardware on the PS3 and Xbox360 is just higher powered than available on even the most top of the range PC. I might be misinformed, but I'm pretty sure that's the case. Either way, I think it's pretty silly the whole community (or a sect, at least) were enraged over getting a port that's not suped up with PC extras and I think it's correlated with the fact that most in that group are used to getting modding powers and dedicated servers and stuff like that.

It was simply a bad game for PC. They killed the only aspect of the PC that makes it far better than consoles...multiplayer.
