I'm from St. John's, Newfoundland, Canada. Moved from there before I can remember but that doesn't make me any less awesome! Of course, I don't speak Newfie so I get by.

My background is Welsh, Irish and "American". (Family came to Canada when the States split from the queen. Yeah... They were loyalists.)

No wonder this site's so good. Americans form just a plurality rather than a majority. That alone would explain the relatively higher quality of discussion.

(I'm American by birth, French by heritage, and a citizen of the world by psychological orientation.)
My thoughts exactly. By heritage, I'm Polish, English, Cherokee, and something else I can't recall at the moment, and that's the only difference between my post and his.

Canada in Birth, but an Esto-Viking in blood

(that's Estonian for all you non-Baltic people)
I knew that was Estonia, unless Esto Gaza from FFIX actually exists.

Australian, but spent the first two years of my life in Fiji, ages 5-8 in Burma, and ages 13-16 in Bangladesh. Not quite sure what my accent is, too.

Also, I would like to use this opportunity to try and resurrect an old (and related!) thread of mine: The Sound of English.

Californian with a background from Germany, Scotland, Ireland (Ulster and Ireland), England, Denmark, Canadian (English and French), Native American (don't know what tribe, my dad asked his in a time where it was still shameful to be Native American supposedly), and my family on both sides got caught caught up in the royal families of Europe in Denmark, Germany, and England (apparently I'm very distantly related to Queen Elizabeth II). So....yea family history is pretty much white guy is what I'm saying.

I really don't know if I should vote 'Other EU Country' or 'Other Non-EU Country'.
Or even if 'Country' can be applied to this.

HAW-HAW!

Maybe the Australians are just waking up or something.
Heh, not for a little bit. At the time you posted that it was quarter past six in the morning Eastern Australian Time (GMT +10)

Oh and I'm Australian, btw. South Australian to be precise.

Greece. Where we are all a bunch of lazy hypocrites. Well, at least my town is quiet and relaxing for the time being.

Also im american. New Jersey. Named after jersey. a small island in between france and england
Oooh extra points for the jersey info :D

Despite the classification of a Fortress Island, Malta really is quite pathetic, We've ben taken over by virtually every country and every empire that ever existed (Except Turkey)
