I doubt my badmouthing of Activision is going to have any real effect in the big picture, but let's be honest: nobody should be buying Black Ops under any circumstances.alucards1hell said:Hey guys, having trouble deciding between my gaming and my exams
so by way of a poll, please decide for me!
Activision who is calling the shots here has been abusing their customers for quite a while now, we have Bobby Kotick, DLC gouging, and the Infinity Ward raid. On top of that by some reports (here on these forums) "Black Ops." is also broken in some rather fundemental ways. There are videos showing how broken the new "Chopper Gunner" is, the fact that they have not learned from "last stand" type abillities, and similar things.
Running out to buy this game is exactly the kind of behavior that makes gamers seem like addicts, but also encourage the behavior of people like Bobby Kotick, and shows that gamers are going to buy broken products, which is going to contribute to the whole "oh hey we can patch it later" attitude, or to skimp on testing game balance and the like.
