Me too but I think it also has a lot to do with using a mouse first when games started going 3d.
I can't do normal.

Well... for flying games (Ace Combat) I ofcourse use inverted, but any other game it just seems wrong for.

Normal, always. The only time 'inverted' controls ever make sense is pitch controls in a flight game, and even then I think flight games label THAT as normal rather than inverted, so that might not even count as inverted.

Assuming I have Normal and Inverted the right way around, games change them occasionally and it can get kinda confusing. xD

I guess I'll spell it out just in case;
In most games, down should mean down.

Normal for everything but flying games, of which I have none.

Why does Inverted feel "right" for aircraft?

I've been playing inverted ever since I first played the Star Wars Trilogy Arcade games. I also played a lot of flight games in my younger days, especially in the arcade, so I grew up with inverted controls. It makes sense to me. If you grab your own head, does your aim go up if you push your head forward? No it doesn't. Inverted is much more accurate to actual head movements.

Inverted 4 life.

I actually got curious and did some research into this topic. you will find that most inverted players are in their mid to late twenties or older and it comes from playing flight simulators as children.

Inverted is for the pros. If you're aiming up, you're leaning back, so drag that mouse down son!

Use to use inverted. Took the screen to be my face, and the pivot point to be the spinal joint at my neck, in the back. Just how it made sense of it.

Started using normal to appease my SO in FPS's.

I used to use inverted, first mouselook game I played was Descent (and played a ton of it) and it was only good inverted. Somehow it still made sense playing first-person shooters (on foot), but at some point it still became counter-intuitive to me.
