To reply to this in simple terms, the average console gamer is either over 25 and younger than 35 or under 15. This means that they either don't understand what they are doing or don't feel like taking orders from someone younger than them.
Also the console is Shooter based. The most games on consoles are shooters or variations of shooters whilst PC has RTS, MMO, Monkey Island and so on. To keep it short PC gamers enjoyed hundreds of options and opportunities to practice and develop the other parts of the brain besides, destroy and teabag. Not to mention the fact people are paying by the month for XBL and want to get as much out of their time as possible.
This leads top a much wider and opener audience with the patience to do a stake out, the observational skills and determination to find glitches, exploits and defend able areas.
Than we get to the age problem. PC has a range of 8-67 and all sorts of people play on it. An average Xbox night yields me drunken fratboys and 12-yearolds that swear like sailors. A night on the PC however lets me meet an actual Bill (Veteran) a Louise (Black office guy), Zoey (College chick) or a Francis (Biker).
In short a PC audience and selection of players is much wider and generally less rude and more willing to cooperate.
And for all the trollers I know I am a PC-totaler and I will be till someone gives me a better control device than the mouse/
Worship it's accuracy fan boys.
