Poll: Please Name Your Character

I remember me and all my friends would rename our Final Fantasy characters after each other when we were young'uns.

I don't usually, although with my copy of Pokemon I renamed myself Dr Dre and all my pokemon after rappers. Just spur of the moment really.

I usually avoid immature names... but sometimes, if a game doesn't really have a story...
Well...
in Torchlight (the only time I actually did this)...
because I happen to hate meathead barbarians and dogs, and was going to play as one with a pet dog... I decided to name my barbarian "Dollops" and my dog "Shithead".

I use names from my book series... Pock random. but no, fagballs or any other such I just find rather idiotic. I like originality, but insulting your character just seems... stupid.

Nope, I usually name protagonists of JRPGs Red and other things I'll usually just go with the stock name or if it's a mmorpg I get pretty creative.

Very very rarely. The only one i did so consistently was renaming Red XIII to Nanaki in FFVII

I read somewhere that if you rename link "I Say" in certain games, everybody sounds like foghorn leghorn, and so I gave it a shot. It did indeed provide some lulz.

I once called a character 'I' so people would say "I saved me". another time i called my character player 1 so the father would say "that suits you perfectly"

Not normally, I am pretty happy with the given names. I'm also not very creative when it comes to naming my characters.

I always name my serious character "Jark", and my one I screw around with something crazy or plagiarized like "Fagballs"...

nothing like seeing a message saying "the borders of JENNY CRAIG have expanded" then my friend says "I guess she didn't make the call"


We also draw retarded things all over the map. best when one of us goes afk and comes back to see the disaster that was his homeland.

Of course I do. Most specifically, In FF7: Cloud as El Chriso, Barrett as Mr. T., Tifa as TastyTits, Aeris as Suckface, Red XII as Firecrotch(cause he's a red "pussy"), Vincent as GothKid, Cait Sith as Chunk, Cid as FagFace and Yuffie as SlutHo. Don't ask, I was 13 years old at the time this game came out. These days I don't usually play RPG-type games.

I can never be bothered. If I HAVE to chose a name I generally just go with J because I am lazy. However, in games such as Pokemon I will name my rival stuff...like NEMESIS or Dr X etc

I can very rarely resist the opprotunity to rename Link's horse "Your Ass" in Twilight Princess , for only that one line from Ilia that you can tweak with.

"Hey there, Link! I washed Your Ass for you!"

I normally name my characters Requx... but ill admit my pokemon rival is named "fagballz" too
