I wouldnt be shocked at either. Porn would be me more awkward, but I would make fun of my friends a hell of a lot more for watching the Pony show

I wouldn't be shocked to find a friend watching porn or ponies individually.
If he/she was watching pornies.....we'd have a problem.

Depends on the porn. There's about a 75% chance I'll be all "OOH, I remember this!" and watch. If it's something REALLY nasty, like scat porn, I'll be all "wow, um, no." and walk away. If it's something really odd, like a lipstick fetish, I'll be all "huh... whatever." and walk away anyway.
As for ponies, it depends on the friend. A few of my buddies, I could see it happening. Others, I'd be all, "REALLY?" Either way, I think we would revel in pony goodness for 10 minutes, then go on with our lives.

I'm not so sure about the ponies...so ponies would be more of a surprise(much more pleasant too)

Rationally, I know its more likely for one of my friends to be watching porn than ponies and thus less suprising.

Viscerally, I'm going to always have a sharper knee jerk reaction to someone watching people fuck than watching a cartoon (assuming of course its not a cartoon of people fucking)

Apologies, I didn't ephisise the word secret enough. Being open about things like that is ok, but hiding it in shame isn't. Having hidden desires for that kind of stuff, and hiding it from everyone including friends, could be a security risk. What else are they hiding? Whay are they hiding it? Is it leading to other, more illeagal things?
I myself have a lego star wars advent calendar on my desk at the mo! Its fine for stuff like that in the Military, but if I was keeping things hidden from them... Thats when the problems start!

Everyone has seen porn. That's not even slightly surprising. I'd probably mercilessly taunt them about it for a while though.

If it were ponies, I would be shocked, but only because my friend had somehow, up to this point, neglected to tell me repeatedly that he watched the show and gush about how awesome it is. That's basically required of you bronies, right?

If said friend was female, then I would be surprised to find her watching porn, but if they were male it would be disturbing if they didn't watch porn.

Porn I would be embarrassed, but quickly cover with a sarcastic remark. And then leave if they kept watching it. Everyone watches it at some point, no matter what.

Ponies, I would pat them on the back and immediately sit down and start watching it with them.

I went with porn.not for shock factor,but for rudeness factor.when you've got friends visiting,it's bad form to be doing what is essentially a solo viewing experience (for lack of better term).
except at a bucks night.all rules are out the window then.
as a side note,most of my friends are parents now anyways,so MLP is fairly expected in those particular houses.
