More important than looks (fake or otherwise), is trust. Best advice I can give a 15-year old is don't go looking for girls you hardly know that are attractive to you. Go for girls that you know, that you enjoy being around, that you trust.

Go out with friends, call it hanging out at first. See where it goes. If you both enjoy each other's company (remember, she has to enjoy you, too) then see where an exclusive relationship goes.

I prefer to call someone beautiful, but between the two I'd go with pretty. Then again, I'm one of those weird people who may care a bit too much about personality. While I don't disregard looks, personality matters a ton to me.

I fall in a simular (near same) opinion. Looks wear off over time faster than one's personality.

No, for the love of all that is holy in heaven do not ever ever ever date your friends. I would say that becoming friends with someone your interested in is a good step but to have someone your interested in in your circle of friends is a death sentence. Trust me on this one, alright.

To me, "cute," "pretty," and "hot" can all be descriptors for the same parts of the body, not just one or the other. In any case, I prefer not to decide whether or not I'll date someone based solely on their outward appearance. There isn't even one specific thing that I look for in a girl. All I can really say is that I go for girls that are interesting. In my experience, though, the word "interesting" is largely interchangeable with the phrase "batshit insane."

I think face is most important, but on the most extreme end of the scale I am not attracted to fat girls. So body plays a part too, and a good body is a nice bonus; but yeah as long as the girl isn't too chubby I don't care much, and great boobs/ass etc are just the icing on the cake.

Actually now that I think about it the girls I have been with were almost flat chested but with really pretty faces.

It sounds too sexual and almost sexist in a way. When someone says "hot" they're probably thinking about just the sexual part of it. That's why I like cute, pretty or beautiful.

OT, though, I like non traditionally hot girls. Small breasts, nice figure, intelligence, personality and glasses are a bonus

OT: Yeah, I only use "hot" as a joke, and I really don't pay much attention to the body anyway, more the face and the personality, as that is what you'll see when you talk to someone.

I wouldn't say they're mutually exclusive.

The girls that I've dated, including my current girlfriend are more in the Pretty category, but at the same time, I think she has a great body.
It's definitely more about what you're interested in with the relationship. Whether its just hanging out for a night with a hot girl, nothing serious happening/a one night stand with a hot or pretty girl/an actual relationship, meant to last for more than a month or two.

I still prefer the combination of the two as much as possible.

Pretty. I like girls who are pretty naturally. Nothing wrong with looking sexy, but if you aren't pretty beneath the makeup, hair dye and etc etc then it seems all for naught. xD
