Hopefully Prototype will bowl me over, why would I want to play a game that I wouln't enjoy? ;D No need to "call" anything, hopefully you'll be right and I'll like Prototype. Doesn't change the fact that I'm not |-|AI3PED up about it though.

You don't have to be hyped up for Prototype to enjoy it when it arrives, so I'm not bothered by that. What does bother me is... well, go to GameTrailers and click on almost any trailer for Prototype or inFamous.

Got fuckers spamming up the boards with comments like "diz game liks nUTS! PROTOTYPE 4eva!" and "INfamous rulz, Prtotpye is sploodge!".

But no one here is doing that, so everything is calm.

Infamous? I've never actually heard of it to be honest. Prototype at least got my interest because it's multi-platform.

Most games I look forward to turn out horrifically mediocre - Legendary for example is the most recent one. So no, I am not looking forward to prototype *winks*.

to be fair, if it's made by the guys who made Hulk: Ultimate Destruction then it's gonna be good, regardless of whether there's a story or not, because what's better then a game that allows you some time to have smash therapy without being yelled at or arrested.

(I know there's a story, i'm perfectly aware they put God-mode on the movies, i've been following it for a while, just trying to avoid people quoting me for my "regardless of whether there's a story or not" bit.)

I already decided to get inFamous, but if I have an extra $60 I might grab a copy.
My only real problem with Prototype is you seem really overpowered, and it might make the game a little too easy.

*sigh* If you had read the other posts you would've known that in the videos they used god-mode to show the moves in the game.

I am definitely getting this game, it's gonna be awesome!

I understand that, but even without god-mode his powers still seem a little too powerful for basic enemies IMO

Basic enemies should be really easy >.>

Apparently, you can call in air strikes and comendear military vehicles as an officer... which sounds pretty pimp.

I imagine your "patsy" move works better than when you're a grunt, as well. Being that you're an officer and all that.

Well I was gonna go construct a gigantatic tower in the middle of the nearest intersection and throw water balloons off of the top to fight off this insidious..."heat".

But thanks to this game I'll need to find someone to pass the torch too.
