I choose to abstain from this vote.

Pocket watches are far more elegant.
Yes but if you buy a small watch, and a monocle, you can just look at the time 24/7.

Mate its left. That is where men traditionally wear wrist watches. But I think nowadays no one cares, I certainly don't :p

I think you wear watches on you left hand (hence the way the dial-thing you use to set set the watch faces outward).

EDIT: Know it think of it, you also wear your wedding ring on the 3rd finger of your left hand.

I used to wear mine on the right, but then people said it was wrong, so now I wear it on the left.

EDIT: Unrelated, but I keep my wallet in my left pocket too, so it's slightly confusing when I think about Austin Powers - "Spectacles, testicles, wallet and watch". Anyone who's seen the films will understand...

I haven't worn a watch for years now, but I remember wearing it on my right wrist, and being commented on my choice of arm. So I'd assume the "normal" wrist is left. While reasonable, witty, charming, handsome, and all round pleasant people wear it on their right. Or not at all, of course.

Edit: Before I get flamed, this was intended sarcastically...

Of course not. I have perfect vision. Monocles are for people whose eyesight is beginning to fail them.

I'd much rather my tailcoat to a monocle or a small watch. If I really needed an easily accessible watch, I'd buy a fobwatch.

I hope this person does.
And if he/she does, I would very much like to meet him/her.

I usually wear my watch on my left arm.
Mainly for symmetrical reasons with my other wristbands.

It doesn't matter at all; I know people who wear their watch on their left wrist, and others who wear it on their right wrist. I wear it on my left, but it's all down to personal preference.

Left hand FTW.
It's natural for me to wear watches on my left and rings on my right. Well just my grad ring. Which fucking owns.

What the hell... this sort of thing always confused me. Like how guys (at least where I'm from) regularly get one ear pierced - if they got their right ear pierced, it supposedly meant they were gay, but the left ear is all manly.

Do people realise just how bloody stupid this crap is? It means absolutely nothing, other than personal comfort. I'm left-handed, so it's easier to put the watch on my right wrist. Yup, that changed my sexuality alright. No foolin'.

...I should leave the internet alone when I'm grouchy.
