I thought Halo 1 or something was on PC? anyway, I voted no, and I only got a PC and PS3. Why did I vote no then, you ask? Simply put, because exclusives should stay exclusives... what if InFamous or MGS4 had been ported over? It would surely mark the end of the world as we know it, and mark the beginning of an era without exclusives! THE HORROR!

i dont think halo should be multiplatform

i think LIMBO should be multiplatform.

and i think Megaman Zero should be multiplatform.

and i think yeti sports should be multiplatform.

...

and i think the COD games should be confined to the xbox, and out of my life.

but all my arguments ever are irrelevant because i AM multiplatform... 'cept for iOS.

...and android.

Halo 1 and 2 were on PC.

The PC gaming world reacted with a resounding 'meh'.

Both ports took a long time to come out and when they did only served to highlight the difference between how the average pc shooter work to how consoles do it.
Halo CE was alright as it was and still is a simple, fun game.

Halo 2 was very bad. Microsoft made it Vista only and to begin with tried to charge money for access to GFWL, only for a few months but long enough to kill off Halo 2 PCs slim chance of any decent sales. It was also fixed in widescreen only. Plus (!) it also came out in 2007, so it went up against the release Halo 3 on Xbox and The Orange Box/Modern Warfare on PC, which well and truly sank it.

Halo and PC just don't play nice together, the sales didn't justify the cost. PS3 is a non starter for many many reasons.

Yes, and inFamous and Killzone should be on the 360. I still thinking having exclusives is an interesting idea and that it likely won't ever go away. But every year Sony and Microsoft should "swap" two games. PS3 gets Mass Effect 2, 360 gets inFamous (or something like that anyways).

That would greatly please me, and it would help stem fanboyism.

I had to say something because this is the most stupid poll I've seen in a while.

Well, I don't really care, have it on XBOX 360 and honestly there are far better games.

Couldn't care less...there are more than enough generic shooters on OS3 and PC...Halo wouldn't make a tad of a difference...

No, the 360 only crowd had to sit here and watch as God of War III and Heavy Rain were released on PS3, so now the PS3 owners can sit there and watch as Halo: Reach comes out.

The 360 is sort of short on big-name exclusives nowadays, so it just wouldn't be right to share. Aside from that, Halo is the cornerstone of the Xbox brand and if it went multiplatform (aside from PC) it would make the 360 sort of... superfluous.

Sort of a silly question, anyway, since Microsoft will never, ever, let Halo go.
I would love to see it on ps3 but I do agree Microsoft will hang onto Halo tighter than corporationally possible.

If you start taking away exclusives, you get decreased competition meaning lower quality, soulless products that start to cost more. Monopolies look good on paper but people tend to fuck things up.

Couldn't care less.

Do any PC/PS3 players really feel left out by not having it?

Ever heard of Fable? I know Fable 3 will be on PC, but it will be on Microsofts Games on Demand service only.
Nope. It's going to be retail and GoD.

Halo 1+2 are, but we really don't need the rest. I wouldn't say Halo 3, ODST, Wars and Reach shouldn't be on PC, but I think it's best summed up as there's no need for them to be on PC. Whilst it's a heavy hitting brand name, to most PC users it's a series that gets little attention, and it's unnecessary. We have a lot of FPS games as it is, both single and multiplayer. We also have a lot of RTS games, so Halo Wars would be unnecessary.

As a PC gamer, I think it's more to do with Microsoft not continuing the series. We had Halo 1 and Halo 2, yet nothing else. We had Gears of War, but not 2 or 3. We had Fable, but no Fable 2 (but we're getting Fable 3). Bit annoying, really.

Halo already has a PC port and that worked out fine. I'd have no problem with a PS3 version but Microsoft probably would.

only pc the ps3 got mass effect 2 they don't need another exclusive then they'll go bragging about it and saying "where's your exclusives now?" I look at it from a less annoying perspective not from a fanboy of 360 perspective

Be real it gains nothing by being on PS3 except making the Sony Fanboys finally have a justifiable reason for purchasing PS3 other than "Blew"Ray

It's a fun game and in terms of controls and graphics etc there is no reason why not. But if Microsoft gave up the rights then they drop one of, if not the only, flagship franchise they own. This would massively dissadvantage them to Sony and Nintendo. Meaning that the market could only really have one hardcore console (the PS3- no one can call the wii anything othe rthan casual with a straight face).

And since i think having two big companies competing for hardcore gamers will mean that each strives to make better games for those gamers then no, Halo should stay xbox 360 exclusive

Should it come to the PS3? Maybe. In exchange for a PS3 exclusive like Uncharted or shall I say God of War? Will it ever happen? Very unlikely.
