Funny story: today my substitute in English wrote "Obama bin Laden" on the board.Erlend Sandholm said:i read the question too fast and tought it said Obama. so i answered no
If I was in the military, I would shoot him. (If I was just a civilian strolling about with my sniper rifle and happened to run into him, I'd probably do nothing.)dkyros said:No, the situation is more serendipitous. Either your in the military, or some other situation that would present this kind of scenario to you. The third option is probably what I would say if it wasn't my thread, but the assumption is that if you have a sniper rifle and Osama in your sites you can probably use it.Jordi said:Well, I'm thinking most of us here didn't go to sniper school, so it's very likely that we'll miss, but is that really the point?
Anyway, I don't know what I would do. I think that I should shoot, definitely. But it seems to me that I would probably want to stay out of these kinds of affairs (and I'm just not a killer). Then again, I'm wondering what I'm doing near OBL with a sniper rifle...
So you intend on going to South America and hurt anyone that commits a crime that involved them hurting someone else. Or hell, do you intend on doing it in the U.S.?TheAceTheOne said:You don't hurt AMERICANS without some serious s*** hitting the fan.
I take it you're not from the US then. I live in the New York area and I know a lot of people that lost loved ones in the September 11 attack on the world trade center. I would take the shot. Maybe he hasn't hurt me personally but he hurt a lot of people around me.EllEzDee said:I wouldn't shoot him, simply because i'm not a killer and he's not wronged me in any way at all.
I was talking specifically on Osama, not about anyone in South America or in the U.S.RanD00M said:So you intend on going to South America and hurt anyone that commits a crime that involved them hurting someone else. You obviously didn't read the part that I specifically quoted. Or you did and decided to completely ignore the point I was trying to make.TheAceTheOne said:I was talking specifically on Osama, not about anyone in South America or in the U.S.RanD00M said:So you intend on going to South America and hurt anyone that commits a crime that involved them hurting someone else. Whats the paycheck? I'm not interested if there isn't decent buck behind my bang.dkyros said:This is a simple thread, if you were a sniper two years ago and you caught Bin Laden in your sites would you shoot him. If you shoot him you can escape his body guard no problem.
My answer is that I would take the shot.
There's no proof linking him to the attacks besides him being a muslim like the attackers and the fact he said it was him on camera. If i go on camera and say i'm the one that caused the Japanese tsunami, does that mean it's true?Evilbunny said:I take it you're not from the US then.
