I have a very fragile relationship with any JRPG that isn't MegaTen or Pokemon. I open up my heart and my wallet thinking "Maybe this one will be different. Maybe I'll really like it" and after several years of being crushed by every recent FF game I've played, every Tales of game I've played, every random JRPG I've tried that isn't part of a direct series...
...I thought I would never trust again.
However, I am going to take the leap of faith with this game. No question about it.
Maybe not day one purchase, but it's certainly on my radar.
