From what i've seen its the socially confident that can get ahead. Maybe cause they can make the first move easier or they can go through the motions of making a move, getting rejected and moving onto someone else faster, i dunno.

The shy thing is always cute to me, it has its own little charm, but a little confidence always helps things run smoother.

Ah-ha, but:
Social confidence =/= attractiveness
So, presumably:
You =/= ugliest person alive.

I win at maths!

Also, I am very good in social situations.
I chat up complete strangers and I am the center of attention pretty much whenever I am with friends, because I am a massive attention whore.
But is it directly proportionate?

You win against me anyway. I hate maths, from the bottom of my heart, I do.

I don't even know what that means. Yes?

Yeah, I despise and am completely awful at math.
But it was mostly words, so I managed to get through it.
American maths must be different to English maths, there are so many numbers.

Actually, I meant the maths I just did in this thread.

I'm not out of school yet.
Well you win at maths any way, everyone is better at maths than me.

It really does depend, as others have said.

I think that it doesn't matter how "good" someone is if they don't show it. While shyness can add a certain mystery to someone, in the end there needs to be at least some substance; I am infinitely more interested in someone who says something witty or intelligent than someone who says barely nothing.

I just gave myself some good reasons to boost my social confidence.

It depends someone can be socially confident but a total jackass where as the quite guy/girl if you can get them talking could be the nicest person ever.

depends on the person. I know people who are socially confident and genuinly kind and gentle. I work with a girl who will approach anybody and when she asks how you are, means it. She genuinly is a nice person and wants to know. Then there's my old roommate, when he's socially confident, he just comes off as a prick.

I (Not to brag) have had some of my Female friends tell me that my outgoing nature is a
turn-on. So I'm going with a yes.

I mean, hello, this is clearly a private conversation!

That's why we were having it in private.
