Because the Majin Boo saga is the only thing I hold dear from DBZ, what with Boo getting overrun by his darker side who immediately wipes out humanity, he absorbes almost every remaining character, becomes more powerful, Goku and Vegeta fuse together to become a super duper all-powerful saiyan, they take a journey inside Boo's body, Boo regresses into his initial form, he detroys the earth and, finally, they fight the final battle on Kayoshin's planet... It's overwhelmingly over-the-top, and Majin Boo is unlike any villain this franchise has ever seen.TestECull said:If you think it's shit for the same reason I think it's shit then why watch it?Adrian Madhog said:Let me sum up a typical DBZ episode... oh wait, you just did it yourself. That's pretty much the WHOLE anime, my friend. At least Majin Boo's antics were more interesting to watch.TestECull said:Allow me to sum up a typical Buu-saga episode, then.Adrian Madhog said:Majin Boo is like one of the awesomest villains ever! Everything else DBZ had to offer was lame to me.TestECull said:Buu annoyed me to no end. Buu is what made me swear off that series entirely.
I voted for Spike. He didn't put up with shit from anyone, and was a cool guy besides. I could see him rolling a Jaaaaaag in more peaceful times. Vash the Stampede is a close second, but he's a bit too lulzy to truly pull off cool IMO.

Seriously, that's it. Nothing but one of the main characters screaming. Shut the fuck up and punch something already, god damn. If it wasn't that, it was filler, and if it wasn't that, it was Buu going "HAha I'm not affected by that" or "LOLZ I REGENERATE", to which the protagonists are all "Y U NO DIE?!". It reminded me of when we were just 5-7 and playing some sort of combat game. "I just shot you!" "No you didn't, I've got magical bullet-proof pants!" "I shot you in the face!" "My glasses caught it".
It was the final straw. Enough was enough. I swore off DBZ at that time and haven't watched a frame of it since. I don't even know how that arc ends, not that I care much. I stopped watching about mid-way through.
Also, dig back into the seasons. The older the season the less screaming there is. More actual combat, more lame mis-dubbed dialog, less whining, less "Death? What's that? Oh, you mean that thing where my body gets obliterated but I'm back by the time the race is on? Yeah I've had four of those this week alone" bullshit. The show took a HUGE nosedive once Cell was defeated, as if he took the good writers with him.
That is why I put him on this poll.
