I am one to my bestie, we normally play co-op, or if it's a non-co-op game, play until someone dies. [Play on the hardest difficulty]. Either that or play chapters, or just play games on my computer(I have my 42" next to my PC for movie reasons), and just watch and laugh and comment and talk and shit. It's good fun^^

I am that person, I love doing it with my close friends, I'm actually organizing a weekend to play an RPG with my best friend. There will be Coca-Cola, Cookie Dough, crisps and donuts!

I have all these gaming systems and my friends don't, sometimes they'll buy or rent a game so we can both play them. Arkham Asylum was one of the most fun as of late, we also do Anime and TV series and movies etc.

Nope, and i generally try to kick any potential friends like that in the teeth before it comes to that.
Case in point: My Friend has a friend who is......something like that. He is sufficiently Anti-Social enough that he REALLY DOES just play games in my Friend's House. Frighteningly so sometimes. He can finish most games within the time it takes to return home[sub]at...4 or 5 maybe[/sub] and still hasn't failed his grades yet.

When he learnt that i had a 360[sub]My friend only has a Monstrously Pimped Computer[/sub] he wanted to try playing in my house. I deflected him before my 360 could red ring on me. No WAY am i letting him play on my Console.

EDIT: I say kick the teeth because i was once like that. and i will be damned if i become that irresposible ever again. It created too much problems for me. Not worth it

I have done this, but rarely, and that was years ago. None of my friends have come to my place to play a game from start to finish in one go.

Anyways, the best time i remember doing this was me being about 15 or so, and my friend had an xbox, not 360, just the plain old previous generation xbox. And one time i decided to sleep at his place. And we started playing this co-up LotR game with final fantasy-like fighting. It was good fun playing it, but we only made it 53 % trough. Can't stay up forever, you know.

But it was fun indeed. Wouldn't be that much fun these days, but doing it while being younger was fun.

I don't have such a friend. I don't have any friends at all.

I'm serious. Not counting online friends (whom I, of course, never see or meet) I have 0 friends. None. Zip. Zero. So it's safe to say that I want such a friend. Any friend I can hang out with and play games with and have a good time with.

None of my friends live in the same town as me so we'd all have to make an effort then...

Well me and my best friend are both like that. When I go over to her house, I always stay for a ridiculous amount of time, use all her stuff etc etc. Aaaaaaand she does the same when she comes over to mine. I'm not sure if that counts as us being way too generous, since it is definately a mutual thing.

I have a friend like that, technically he's my brother's friend, and he is here right now. He spent the weekend up here, was awake til about 7.30am playing on our xbox. It pisses me off, but I don't like to say anything to him because I'm afraid I might hurt his feelings. I have occasionally hinted at him that he should let someone else (the owner of said xbox) have a go, or hey! Socialise and stick a multiplayer in. But no, he's says "Yeah, just let me finish this" Nearly two hours later he's still on. Ask him again, same thing.

Heh. Just got back from my friends. We play PS3, I bring up my laptop, he has a glorious gaming PC. We just swap around, watch movies, listen to music, whatever. Good fun.

I'm that guy, but I only have a small number of friends that will indulge me.
Normally I just play multiplayer with my buds.

Yeah I have a mate like this we do other stuff but we usually just gravitate around his XBox.

I mainly just support..

I won't intrude friends house indefinetly without any strong reason, me and my friend used to hang out more, but today we all have some responsabilitys and don't have time for beating sigleplayer games in each other house.

I don't really have an interest in having a friend like this...

If all we're doing is playing games I'd get bored after.. I dunno.. 3 hours, tops!

I tend to play games in short bursts and then do other things. I'm talking an hour or possibly 2 hours at most. There are very few exceptions to that rule! A place where people expect me to spend several hours or several days of playing games is something I'd try my hardest to avoid.

Anyways I'm rarely interested in playing games with other people. When I'm gaming I think of it as my alone time when I get absorbed into a story without hindrances of other people and take it in by myself. If I'm with friends I'd rather be out of the house doing other things, so gaming is something I usually don't do socially. I'd rather be clubbing or shopping! It's good I feel this way because I have no friends who are gamers anyway.

I am that person. I always insist on using my house if I'm with a group of people, after all my house is the biggest and comfiest.

Used to do that from 8th to end of 10th grade when i changed schools. One of our friends lived close to the school (3 minutes walking) and had 2 TVs in his huge ass living room, so we would always keep 2 xbox 360 hooked up and a wii and play all the time. We used to go there quite often (almost every weekend) but everyone had to bring money for pizza and to order shit. There were around 6 of us so it made for nice Halo matches and such.

We would leave school sometimes and go to his house after passing the nearby Mcdonalds and when there were tests that had time in between then (end of year tests) we would hang out there.Man those days were fun...
