I thought everyone had that friend, with the huge TV and awesome internet connection. I used to be one but I now live too far out of the way, we use the more central of friends. We spend days at a time, drinking, gaming and eating and all is well in the world.

Yeah, my friend does this quite often. We go to his house, play some games, then it turns into an over night thing so we get some food too. Last time we popped to the guest's houses to pick up some stuff in the car of a man that has no respect for speed limits. I picked up my tv and my original xbox. The host actually fell asleep, but me and the other guest stayed up all night playing TimeSplitters multiplayer and taking turns completely owning most of the challenges and arcade leagues. In the morning we played Left 4 Dead 2, all three of us and because I had no sleep I was constantly switching realities while playing, but I still never died :)
Haha that sounds so awesome :D

I have a friend that'll come over and beat entire games at my house. We have a lot of fun doing so, as I can be playing a game as well. (2 TVs.) Playing games with people who you have fun with it almost always more enjoyable than playing alone.

No, and honestly I don't want one. Me and my friends get bored of videogames in about an hour, siting though a game would make us want to blow our brains out.

I have 2 of those friends. And we used to do this kind of thing all the time.
In the morning we'd go hiking, or play tennis. And then eat cookies at one of our grandma's house.(this happens even nowadays)
In the evening we'd go in pubs drinking and trying to pick up chicks, or just go for a drive while listening to old 80's music.
Then later on we'd rent and watch a movie, after witch we'd start our midnightish game session.
Oh, those times...
Too bad they went to College :(
Now I see them only 3 times a year.
But still, these are my best friends in the world.

I was that friend back in middle school. Then when I got to high school, we all became that friend in one way or another, especially during the summer.

I must confess, there's one game i finished in one go, it was just so captivating. I am speaking of portal. I hope you do not look down on me as some kind of no-life freak, those days are behind me.

In my neck of the woods, we'd be using the term "playing games" as an excuse to lock yourself in your friends room and get stoned.

I have a friend who's like a sister to me and I've watched her beat about... 3 games now. Maybe 4, but I'm just not remembering. Of course we talk while she's playing, I just sit beside her because I like watching her play. I don't know, it's weird. She likes playing and I like watching the game - I guess it helps if I like the game too. I thought watching her play Fallout 3 was going to impossible, but it keeps getting better. Uncharted was really fun to watch her beat, and I she's just starting up Infamous which is a bit slow right now. But yeah, she's my best friend and I love spending my nights watching her shoot a Raider up to bits.

This needs a "Yes, and its me." option.

As it stands, my friends hang out at my house for videogames, Dungeons and Dragons, movie nights, food and because I have a huge comic collection. Funtiems.

Me and my good friend hang out every Friday for late night gaming sessions. Fun, until he started telling everyone he killed in Modern Warfare to 'suck it'.
