I gotta say, IF they choose to unmask Tali, and I'm not sure they should, this is spot on what I'd hope she'd look like.

I say keep her masked. Because the image that people have in their head will be infinetly better than what Bioware could show. I agree with that one guy who said let us see some no name Quarians face and then we can build a general idea of that in our own heads.

It's like for anyone who has seen Sold Out: A Threevning with Kevin Smith. When he talks about how Harvey Wienstien wanted Kevin to actually show what Pillowpants looks like in Clerks 2.

Also, Who else is with me in the fact that I grew to like Tali, because of her personality (That and I needed someone with Decryption skill. So that's another reason for me) and how she and Shepard conversed in Mass Effect 1. Also because she was the one female on your ship that Shepard couldn't have as a Love Interest. I took her on every mission because I enjoyed her character. She was mysterious, and the Quarians have one of the best backgrounds BECAUSE they have to stay in the Enviro-suits.

I am just a little tired of people clamoring "People only chose Tali cause of 'DEM HIPS AND ASS' When that argument could be used for Miranda aswell. I mean come on, How many ass shots did they show of Miranda vs Tali. More Miranda I can tell you that.

I assume you're talking about Ashley.
You would be wrong. Internet Kraken was clearly talking about Tali.

If you took the time to talk to her, you would realize that she wasn't in fact racist. She has completely legitimate reasons for being distrusting of other alien races, I mean, the first time we ever have contact with the Turians, they almost wipe out a whole planet, completely destroying the Williams family reputation and getting Ashley shit postings like the one on Eden Prime. Before she met Shepherd she would probably never have been able to get higher than gunnery chief and she would probably have never had a shipboard posting.
So... she has legitimate reasons for being racist. Racism isn't defined by legitimacy, you know.
I'm not saying she's racist at all. I'm saying she's distrusting.

Going strictly by the definitions we have for these words now doesn't make much sense, since the meanings of these words have expanded in Mass Effect. The Mass Effect games consider the Geth to be a species, so I don't see what your point is.
...What?

Are you seriously defining words based on a video game instead of oh say; a dictionary? No, nope, I'm done here.

When what you are discussing is the video game, then I can totally see how he goes on what the video game says. The video game (as any work of fiction) determines what any specific word means within its' own narrative. Obviously, in the Mass Effect-universe the word species has changed in meaning to mean any sentient being whatever or not it is organic.

I'm defining words based on the video game we are currently discussing. I fail to see where the problem is. Technically using the term racist to describe hatred to other species isn't accurate by out current definition of racist, but we're all still using it for that purpose. Why? Because that's how they use it in Mass Effect, and we're discussing Mass Effect.

They'll show us a Quarian in ME3 I think. There'll be too much nerd-rage if they don't.

If not, there's always the pervs over at DeviantArt.

That picture... is deeply rooted in the uncanny valley... can't unsee.
I agree. It's less sexy/cute/cool, and more creepy.

Though when you consider how many main Council-Space species are based on human physiology and proportions, that's to be expected.
Which alien species do you interact with most commonly in Mass Effect? Turians, Quarians and Asari. By far most are those.

The flaw with that rendition is that it tries too hard to make the Quarians appear even more human; something we don't have a problem with Turians and Asari (who are just blue skinned female humans with different heads...similar design philosophy to the original Klingons, who were practically human apart from the facial makeup and hair, though later iterations of the show corrected this) because they're distinctively not human.

Yes, I had that scene firmly in mind even as I made my post, and I stand by my statement.
But think about it: that scene proves my point when you realize why they all look similar.
