Poll: videogames? do they affect your grades?

I'd say it's just doing something else in you schoolwork time. Might be videogames. Might be films. Might be books. Might be scratching your nose.
Actually, I'd say that games might slightly improve your grades, not directly though. In order to work efficiently, you need relaxation. And games are great at that. I actually find that I can sleep better (and consequently, work better the next day) when I have a gaming session in the evening.
And if you wanted to really stretch it, some games can motivate you to find stuff out. More about the background of historical games, for example. That was actually my case with "Commandos", which got me into the history of the force, then into military WW2 history, then finally into political WW2 history.
