I say yes but I think the story was finished so they might need new characters/settings/etc. but I'm cool with that because I just love the style of the show.

FLCL only had two manga volumes. Any more episodes to the anime would be filler, and filler generally sucks.
EDIT: So I guess this time anime came before manga. Either way, it's been forever (9 years) so I don't think you'll get any more.

Yeah it did end perfectly and the rest would be crap filler but I would at least like a spiritual successor to it just because I love the style of it so much.

According to some random wikipedia article I read on it a long time ago (IE I can't remember the source but) it was all a demo for some new technology a company was trying to pitch to a studio or something like that. Hence why the animation changes around so much over the course of the 6 episodes.

Fooly Cooly was awsome any more would ruin it, on that note someone should pick up the berserk anime and do it over they left it at the begining of the best stroy arc what the hell.

No because it ended perfectly. If it was a long running show it would have become stale and its magic would have been lost. Its short length meant that the episodes were all of good quality and things never got boring. I voted yes just because I liked the show and a proper choice wasn't put up.

I loathed the show. It was incoherent and a pile of metaphors, mainly sexually oriented ones.
For example the most easily recognizable one is Naota's horns which represent breaking free from childhood and entering maturity and sex.

Another example is the sour soda. The soda represents love, sour, sour love. The girl that like Naota's older brother(I forgot her name cut me some slack) drinks sour drinks meaning she has already had a slip of love with Naota's brother.

How do I know this? I don't, but one can deduce this to be true or at least to be ballpark estimates (See what I did their? Baseball...you know in FLCL) considering the the show is about coming of age.

Back to my original point. The series is not good because of all the metaphors. Why not just come out and say this stuff in a PSA or something. At least that way most would actually understand the meaning.

Introduce new characters when the plot is over? Why, that'd be crazy! It'd be something new, innovative, and get completely boring, like Bleach.

You know, aside from being... what's it, 6 years? after the show finished, that show has a cult which I'm not so sure it deserves. The story was filled with symbolism it was really hard to see what was what or I could take anything at face value. If anything, the only thing I got out of FLCL was the pillows and a strange love for Vespas.

Oh, and this sums it up, actually.

Hell no. FLCL ended the way it was supposed to end. The King of Space Pirates (or w/e he was) is free. Haruka chases after him with her juices flowing all over the place, and Whats-their-faces other characters are left to live out the rest of their boring lives on the boring old Earth.

What do you want to continue? You want to see how Haruka's chase ends? Or the few more episodes of the everyday boring life of other characters?
