And there's the rumor that they wanted something to cheer up the staff after working on End of Evangelion made them all want to cut themselves. So they basically just got everyone high, gave them some crayons, and told them to get to work. Greatness was the result.

The story was filled with symbolism it was really hard to see what was what or I could take anything at face value. If anything, the only thing I got out of FLCL was the pillows and a strange love for Vespas.

You too? Don't forget the 1961 Gibson EB0...

FLCL needs no more, because frankly, it was perfect as is. If you absolutely need more of what FLCL was, just go watch Excel Saga, and try not to let your eyes roll out of your head or your ears bleed from the sheer "WTF?"-ness of it all. Gainax knows how to run their shows, and have at least put proper endings in all of their shows (at least, the ones I've seen). They understand how much impact something has, and have rarely, if ever, run any episode that didn't have enough thought in it to be something substantially important to the series as a whole. If something has died, or run out of material, then Gainax will let it end, and then move on--something quite a few developers could learn from.

While that show was, in fact, the shit, it was ended very well, and doesn't really need anything else in between the beginning and the end. It was the perfect series. Kind of like the Japanese version of Megas XLR: Perfect show, doesn't need any tweaks.

I say. HELL to the YEAH on more episodes of FLCL. In Fact they should at least make a movie. Where Naota Nandaba Walks into his room (hearing the guitar being played) and Haruko Haruhara hits him in the face with guitar. Anyways long story short, she needs his help again. To have more episodes or (hope to god) a movie would really make me happy to seem my favorite anime show come back to life.

they need more episodes. seriously. they made six episodes and ended the last one with a cliff hanger. its messed up. but that was absolutly the best anime i have ever watched. you haven't lived util you have seen this show. if ur a nerd that is...
