Werewolves.
Infinately more badass and scary. Vampires are more likely to bore you to death reading emo poetry or somthing. Has anyone ever seen a film where vampires are like happy just killing people and not sitting there soliquising about how miserable they are... Oh ffs just eat me now you morose git. I can't take it anymore.

I would like to point out, however, that you're opposed to vamps from twilight, then you post a pic of a scantily-clad, large-breasted, female vampire instead.

If you can't tell what my choice is something is fairly wrong with you... if I was one however I would hope not to get more aggressive in human form. i'd probably turn into a giant puppy dawg. the only downside that I can see is the silver weakness it would be awkward if I went to a fancy resturant and couldn't use the for without recoiling in pain i would probably have to eat like a dog too.

1.I only need to eat once a month
2.I never need to sleep (I would have more time to spend playing a game so I would be king of all players of that game.)
3.Who needs to go outside?
4.I can be a bat. Flying is cool.
5.I'm sexier then furry dog things.
6.Also better stalking capabilities. Oh hai lady across the street, I just happen to be able to see through your curtains...Ooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooh...
7.Super duper long life means I can be smarter than everyone and create some amazing invention which will make me rich and famous.

I'd choose a werewolf in a heartbeat. Being a vampire surely has its perks (flying and drinking blood) and if I were a vampire I'd have an excuse for hating the sight of a crucifix and never going out during the day if I could help it.
But to me, being a vampire is the real curse. Being a werewolf just gets you deeply in touch with your animal self, and I'm all about that (I'm very much a were; I have a wolf costume that I wear around the house when I'm home alone.) My lifelong wolf fixation dictates that I say: Werewolf.

I'm making the assumptions that they have roughly the capabilities outlined in World of Darkness, so... Vampire, I guess.

I mean, they retain the intelligence and appearance of humanity, but get badass powers on top.

Werewolf.
Vampires had their lime light and they're kinda pussy compared to werewolves.
Let's not forget that in Vampire the Masquerade - the game that is almost iconic in the development of vampire culture and style - they all fear running into a werewolf one on one.

Vampires, in recent years, have been reduced to romance novel fodder. Twilight is the worst example of this, but they've been in things like Anita blake's novels (which are pretty good, honestly) and worse things.

Humans are pretty awesome though, for one reason: Ingenuity. Humans are down to earth, know they're fucked (once they've become aware of the existence of werewolves/vampires) and will fight to figure out what to use, how to use it and when to use it to get what they needs doing done.

I wouldn't count them out :V

Vampires, if you have ever read the Von Carstein blood wars trilogy then you would know it is brilliant, absolutely brilliant.

I wasn't fussed on them, TBH. Had some very good scenes, but they weren't really tied together to make stories.

Also, doesn't help that the story is dealing with some of the really important fluff...yet to see that down well.

Hang on...humans are better than wolves, right? One is the dominant species, and the other has been domesticated and selectively bred into poodles.

A human that became a wolf every so often would be less than a regular human, you'd think.

So, If you could choose between the 2 which would you be?
I, personallay would be a werewolf.
(This is not a war between species, this is which would you perfer if given the choice)

Let's lay down some guidelines here:
Werewolves:
Werewolves can choose when they change(This requires practice)
Werewolves CAN control themselves (primal instinct can control them when neccesary)
Werewolves can and WILL hunt in packs
Silver does not kill them, but it does do considerable damage
You gain more canine features in human form
you are more aggresive in human form

Vampires:
THEY DO NOT SPARKLE
They do require regular amounts of blood
they have A LOT more self control than werewolves
They're paler(lack of blood, duh)
They have the ability to become a bat
They're weakness is DIRECT light (artificial is fine)

Are they both immortal? I assume so, but I'm just checking, because it would be a major dealbreaker for me if the werewolves weren't. Otherwise the idea of turning into a godlike beast whenever I wanted to (and be able to control myself) would be incredible.
