It was brilliant. I think they made the right choice in not revealing the pyro's identity, keeps some mystery with him/her/it. Wouldn't be the same if we knew.

I loved the bit about the rest of the team being afraid of him, and the psychotic reveals of what the pyro THINKS he's doing.

Also, entire team WAS babies. Huh.

Well, it made me smile.

Although I'm not sure why a Heavy would fear a Pyro. The minigun mows those mumbling bastards down like... like... a thing being mown down.

They were interviewing REDs. They weren't scared of what the Pyro would do to them, they were just terrified to be around it.

I wasnt really expecting anything since I wasnt following it. Im not a huge Valve fan so maybe Im blessed in that regard

As for the video, I thought it was funny. Ive only played TF2 a few times, its not my multiplayer of choice but I recognize its a well balanced game. Still it made me chuckle, I dont know what I was expecting but it wasnt THAT and thats probably a good thing. If I was a valve fan, I probably would have enjoyed it less because my expectations would have been settled into something more specific

What am I some kind of super hero that goes around spreading common sense and logic?

It was fantastic. I guess I get why a few people wanted to know who/what the Pyro actually is, but I didn't. When the music kicked in, I cracked up fiercely.

Now I just want the update to arrive. I've been checking compulsively at Steam for a few hours now.

Flares: Heavies are pretty much helpless to them.

Huh.

That actually makes perfect sense.

I though it was great. I'm glad it turned out so well.
Off-topic a little:Did anyone notice the soldier dying of heart-burn at the end?

This disturbing glimpse into the pyro's mind might make me not play him/her/it for a while. It's almost like a creepypasta with the sharp tonal shifts.

Not really afraid but it was funny as hell.

Anyone who actually thought they would reveal the pyro is dense. Sorry, but it's a running gag on purpose, they aren't going to abandon it. It was pretty good, I would be more excited if I still played.

I'm just waiting for the inevitable half-life mod that brings the Pyro's imaginary world to life, bubble guns instead of flamethrowers, lollipops instead of axes, and the entire world cell shaded bright pastels with unicorns and rainbows. That would be a brilliant game!

Alternatively, you could just use the items that Valve released.

I don't get it... maybe because I don't know what the hell is up with the Team Fortress announcements or the game overall. Why am I even commenting? I should have deleted this!

Meh.
I didn't find it great. It didn't seem to fit in with the rest of the videos. Also it wasn't funny compared to meet the spy or meet the medic. I can't really put my finger on it. I liked all the other "meet the" videos. This one just didn't do it for me.
Maybe it was the licensed track? Or maybe because that trope of people doing horrific things while they don't realize it/are on drugs is overused?

Now all we need is a total conversion mod for Team Fortress 2 that lets you play the Pyro in a translated world that looks like the literal inside of the Pyro's mind, complete with Lollipops and bubble gun.... for everyone else it looks the same as you play, but for you... like fairyland. ;)

Why get a mod when Valve gives you the real thing, built right into the game [http://www.teamfortress.com/pyromania/pyroland/]?

OT: I really loved it. It was not even close to what I was expecting, while still being laugh at loud hilarious. Definitely one of my favs.

I knew they weren't going to say what the pyro was, he, she, it, whatever it is, it's crazy. And I don't get the dislikes on the video, maybe it's the MLP hatred or some other nonsense, oh well;

I laughed pretty hard, creepy, disturbing, strange, horrifying, hilarious.
