It depends, on websites like this or other sites where I'm gonna stay around for a while I enter in my real birthday since I'm 19. But if the site is for a trailer or something I usually enter 1/1/slide-the-year-to-the-50's
Depends on what I'm watching or registering for. If its just a video I want to watch, whatever is fastest. If its something I care about, I'm over 18 anyway so I just enter my own birthdaye.
1/1/ and then scroll down to the bottom of the list and click a random year.
Those damn websites which put 2011 at the bottom of the list are my greatest enemy.
Depends on the site. For things like the are-you-old-enough-to-see-this-video warnings, I just change the year to something in the ballpark of my age since I don't see why it matters that I be honest in saying I'm 32 or 37 or 27. For more permanent stuff, I use something approximating my real birthday.
Last time I was 100% honest on a web form about my age was when I was doing my census forms.
Depend on how the dates are enter. I type out my real date of birth but if its the type where the dates are in a drop down table I tend to scroll to t nearest year of my birth.
If I'm actually signed into the website, I'll enter my real birth date, just in case they have a popup screaming "LIAR!" for inconsistent answers. Otherwise it's 1/1/197x or so.
I tend to leave it at 1/1 and just hit something in the vicinity of 1990 for the year if I'm not signed in
I'm sure they'd like to automatically assume that everyone claiming a birthday of the 1st of January was lying, but it would only take one lawsuit from someone for whom that is their birthday to screw that principle up
I usually scroll hard and just see what day I was born on today. Last time I got something like July 29th, 1934. I'm 17, so I have to do that, but I can't imagine why I'd painstakingly search out my actual birthday just because.
If it only needs me to change the year I just set it to something random in the 70-50s, wherever I land scrolling. If it needs me to change or enter everything, I use my real Birthday.
before 2011 I would put 92 and so on. They should get rid of choosing your day, month and year form a drop box and instead just have you type in the year you were born. Feel like its such a waste of time, not really stopping anyone.
