Poll: What can we do?

After listening to Swan Lake by Tchaikovsky on YouTube, I thought about how much I love music. That, got me thinking (this, in conjunction with random people saying "ur gaay" in the comments).

What can we a species do to make up for the amount of destruction death and war that we've created/caused. Music would be my choice.

Basically, what would say is the greatest and most important thing achieved by humanity.

Also the only thing that balances out the horrible ness is love, compassion and mercy. Sure music and art can be beautiful, but nothing truly displays the goodness in people like... err... displays of the actual goodness of people.

Also I think "music" is kinda vague. Are we talkin' All the Single Ladies here? Does that really display the pinnacle of goodness in humanity? By the way, if you like it, you should put a ring on it... whah uh oh whuh uh ohhhhh...

Could I suggest that developing medicine is probably the human endeavor most likely to 'cancel out' the wrongs of war.

Exactly. Most music today is about having sex, doing drugs, or relationship problems. There is some out there that isn't, but not much.

I say engineering. Theres really no limit to how much technology can improve. Not until the robots take over and kill us at least.
