I would love to get it for PC, but sadly mine is shite and can barely run browser based games. So PS3 for me. I would actually prefer to do X Box as well, buuuut that bit the dust a while ago.

I'll play it on my 360 because that's where all my friends are and I'm going to want to play while talking to them so we can share cool stuff we just found, but I'm also getting it for the PC so I can take part in mods
Sooooo, why not just get it on PC and talk to them via xbox?

PC. i think anyone who doesnt play a game like oblivion- that is, a readily moddable game- on a PC is a idiot. at least half of the fun of these types of games are the many patches and mods avalable- reballances, fan items and models, quests, areas, and even up to entire campaigns. I mean, look at the oblivon mod http://www.nehrim.de/indexEV.html

Its not a mod. its a entire coversion built on the oblivion engine. Thats -AT LEAST- two games in one, not considering all the other mods and quests out there.

There is no doubt in my mind that Skyrim will have such support when it comes out. And those poor fools on PS3 and XBOX360 are going to miss out.
Generalisations are fun, aren't they?

I'm dreadfully sorry sir that I do not have a powerful PC and can't really afford one right now, I guess that just automatically makes me an "idiot" and a "fool" according to you.

So I'm just going to go crawl back into my box under the overpass.
You can afford a Gaming Console, and you live in a box?
Where do you plug in your Console?
Is there a power-point in that underpass?
I thinks i smell a troll

In any case, if i wanted to cause offence i would have said something like "Anyone who doesnt have a gaming PC is a retard"

So shuddup.

Edit:
A troll that lives under a overpass?

DO U C WAT I DID THAR?

PC even though my current system doesn't have a hope in hell of running the game, plan on upgrading soon and hopefully that will come before Skyrim does.

PC because of mods. Like everyone with a half-decent computer should.
This a million times over. If you buy a Bethesda RPG for a console system, you are either unlucky because you don't own a halfway decent PC, or you are a massive retard.

THE MODS - OMG, THE MODS. Seriously the best thing about Bethesda RPG's is the modding community. So much endless fun.

That's coming from someone who just generalised millions of people, and you're telling me to "shuddup"?

Also, the primary definition of "idiot" and "fool" are both derogatory, "retard" on the other hand, the primary definition of that word is not what you think it is. Using the words "fool" and "idiot" are more disrespectful than saying "retard", at least in a technical sense.

PC, there's no way I'm spending loads of money on a console version that can't be modded.

Come on, please. You know exactly what the word 'retard' means these days, and you also know it's much more insulting than 'fool' or 'idiot.' Stop trying to make yourself look clever and just ignore him.

PC. I made the mistake of buying Fallout 3 on PS3. Its not a good idea. Not terrible, but the fact its unmoddable just grinds me when I read about it.

Xbox, both because I have a crap computer, and because I've had a crap computer for so long I'm actually better with a 360 controller than a mouse and keyboard.

I know, there is no hope for me.

Tch, and you're calling me a troll?

Yes, "fool" and "idiot" are not offensive, but they are technically more derogatory than "retard", yeah sure most parts of society don't see it that way, but I do and I tend to ignore it most of the time.

Like I said before, you generalised millions of people, why would you do that? You assumed a great deal and assuming such things is never a good idea.

I'll be getting it for 360.

Better controls, WAY bigger screen, stable game-play and lack of irresistible cheats are my reasons.

I will probably get it for PC in time when the modding community has been well established.

EDIT: Wow. After reading through this thread, I feel like a leper for holding the opinions that I do. Seriously people, the mods won't matter for several months and even when they do, not having them does not mean I am an idiot.
