I game on the PC since my favourite genres are RTSes, grand strategy and turn-based strategy. I also like using the mouse and keyboard for shooters.

At this point for me, it's probably a tie between PC and PS3 but I voted for PS3. PC is just so much more (I forget the word for being more advantageous and... Now I forget my second description word) But it just feels too easy. I don't feel compelled to commit to a game on my PC as I am to a game on my PS3.
Wow I'm shocked how much PC is "winning" in this poll. I was expecting quite the opposite. PC gamer primarily here, tho I have both consoles for when I need em. I like how Wii did not make the polling list by name lol

No wonder I liked these forums so much.
As for me, I grew up with PC gaming and ever since been awfully suspicious towards consoles. There is no way to fix the bugs yourself by meddling with the files. There are no mods. And there are the godawful shooter mechanics.
Consoles get many things right and seem to be the most popular gaming platforms, but it's just not my cup of tea. There are only few games which I would play on my PS3.

Picked PC because lately I have been getting most of my games on pc, though I will play my X-box or ps3 from time to time, never play my wii though.

I answered 360. Not by choice but necessity.
My PC has terrible specs so I use it for old/indie stuff. Lately though I've been playing newer stuff that requires my 360: Dark Souls, AssCreeds, LA Noire, Fallout:NV. Once I have a decent PC I'll switch over in a heartbeat. I've chosen to avoid Skyrim and as much of its content as possible for a year now because I refuse to play TES on a console and I don't want the experience ruined by over exposure. This has been incredibly difficult for someone who watches a lot of LPs and is itching to play Skyrim. It's killing me!
Bottom-line: Consoles are more dollar efficient and easy to use and right now in my life that is enough to override the freedom and power of a PC.
Also: Good god console wars are retarded.

I use consoles and my PC, noticeably a Sony and Nintendo consoles. Which I use the most entirely depends on what system the game I want is being released on and is thus fairly arbitrary.

I play a lot of older games on my PC, as well as a few new ones (I got Deus Ex: HR for PC because it would be weird having all of the Deus Ex games for PC except for the latest one), but for most newer games, my PC can't run them at reasonable speed or quality. That's what my 360 is for.
I don't really prefer one over the other, it's just which one is more convenient for the game in question.
