I'm Irish as they come. I live in Dublin although my father is from Limerick (down south) which is rugby country. My mother is also from Dublin but her parents are from Northern Ireland.
As Irish as they come.
Grandparents from the UK.

Pick one.

OT: I'm a first generation Aussie of British decent. So I'm a dual citizen, yay.
Northern Ireland....on the island of Ireland who considered themselves Irish and never owned a British passport
It's still not properly Irish.

If Australia took over part of New Zealand and became the United Countries of Great Australia and Northern New Zealand while the South Island became the Republic of New Zealand which was followed by all of the mess which happened between the UK and Ireland people who're from Northern New Zealand would be different from New Zealanders.

There is a distinction there.
It's really not that clear cut, it's a matter of prefferance. They have never considered themselves anything but Irish. They're entitled to two passport's for a reason.

We are still debating the whole issue, and as we are entitled to choose a british or irish passport that means its up to the person to decide their nationality.

We belong there because we have the capital of the EU, THAT's why. ;)
We have the other capital of the EU and we're not here :(

Gotta say, I'm surprised at the number of Brits. Reminds me of one time I went on holiday somewhere and everyone you could hear was American. Felt like they absolutely monopolised the place, but it turned out there were more British people there than anyone else. Surprised me.

Why thank you, we hate you as well. *looks for Ikea to blow up* >:3

In all seriousness, the list is more than a bit silly.

I'm Dutch. As in, from the Netherlands. A lot of people seem to think that when I say I'm Dutch, I mean I'm German.

I'm British, more specifically ING-GER-LAND! Even more specifically Lancashire. I'm not a fat nationalist either.

I hail from the island of Great Britain, more specifically the county of West Yorkshire in northern England. If you ever want to hear more about it just listen to any one of Patrick Stewart's speeches when he talks about where he grew up. I believe there was a talk he did in Dallas where he compared Texas to Yorkshire. I found it quite funny because he told the Texan crowd that Yorkshire is the largest county in England, then I look at a map and realise there're probably farms in Texas the size of Yorkshire :/

There's an option for New Zealand!

[sub]For some reason NZ is always left out in these threads, and we have to vote "other" or, heaven forbid, "Australia".[/sub]
I do wonder that too, although, along with Ireland, it's probably due to your low population :p
And we kinda forget about you over there next to the beast that is Australia.

I'd love to visit New Zealand one day though, more so than Australia. It looks gorgeous over there.

British. Or United Kingdom has your poll calls it.
"British" applies to the whole of the UK though, so it's the same. "British" doesn't specifically refer to Britain alone.

They taste good too once you've had your wicked way with them then killed them!

Always remember your wellies so you can trap their back legs in them, otherwise they're right little fluffy buggers

British, more specifically English, more specifically Yam Yam.

Born in West Scumwich Bromwich (though me mothers side of the family is Wolves fans so is me Dad but his family am all Stripey Pajama fans) but live in Dudley borough, quite nice, near the countryside.

Quite proud of being British/English though, 25% of the World was once ours, 2 World War, 1 World Cup and a lot of amazing Rock bands come from me area as well. Though I think were in desperate need of a massive overhaul.

But no one says that their nationality is 'United Kingdom'. It's British. That's my point.
