i'd have to go with lava. its been a real ***** to me lately especially since ive been building wooden houses. and as we all know unless lava is completely encased in something it tends to make things burn. including the house that i had been working on for hours.
ive never really had a problem with any of the mobs. they can be annoying as all hell at times but they only kill me when i have just died from lava and get respawned outside because it thinks that my home bed is obstructed even though its in the middle of the room.
