2010/Q1 '11 are looking like great years for MMOs. Which one are you the most excited about?

The Agency- MMO with spies! FPS style running and gunning with elements of RPGs. Players can pick from 2 Agencies. There are many mini games including Spy genre staples, Casino games (poker and blackjack) Unknown release date, 2010. PS3, Windows

Star Wars: TOR- you probably already know about this one. MMORPG set in the old republic star wars universe. 2011. Windows

Final Fantasy XIV- No explanation necessary. TBA, 2010. PS3, Windows

DC Universe Online: The player is helped by various superheroes from the DC universe to defeat baddies or vice verse (villans help you). You'll receive either a Justice league or Legion of Doom communicator. Metropolis and Gotham are two confirmed cities. TBA, 2010. PS3, Windows

APB: Think GTA IV with thousands of other Nikos in a massive city. Its like crack thats on cocaine. Only that scares me with this game is...lag (shudders)TBA, 2010 Windows

World of Warcraft: Cataclysm - the next step in the seemingly never ending and ever expanding World of Warcraft universe. TBA, 2010. Mac OS X, Windows

Other: Sorry if i missed any. Reply with an answer.

So what are you excited about?!

The Old Republic. I was never interested in an MMO until it was announced.

edit: The Agency looks like it could be interesting too. But its NOTHING compared to The Old Republic.

APB looks amazing, and the lack of a monthly subscription pretty much sealed the deal for me.

I don't play MMOs and am not excited for any of them. However, I do want to see how SW:TOR does, and if it can battle with WoW. Just curiosity.

Excited about FFXIV, but more keen on SW:TOR. I just hope it'll do really well and hurt the giant that is WoW, at least a little.

The Old Republic sounds exciting, there's just so much they can do with it. however, they can screw it up easily as well, i really hope they do a good job.

I won't play any of them because of my computer, but I'm excited to see how The Old Republic turns out.

I think Lego Universe Online might work on my computer and that looks pretty...okay for a Lego game.

I picked TOR because, despite my non-fondness for this sort of game, KotOR was one of my favorite games ever, and I will probably attempt to play TOR at some point, even though I wish like hell it wasn't an MMO.

Guild Wars 2 - Not out till next year though but it is going to be mental
Ah! How could I forget this!

Played the first one for 3 years and had over a 1000 hours on it. Really psyched up about GW2.

I'm a fan of both Star Wars and Bioware's games so you can expect me to be cutting people in half with my lightsaber the day it's released.

I'm really looking forward to SW:TOR. I loved Bioware putting it's party relationships and moral dilemmas into the Star Wars universe for KOTOR. Beginning as a nobody and becoming a powerful Jedi or Sith is totally badass. The story/lore (thanks to bioware) was fantastic and my only regret is that KOTOR 2 ended with such a cliffhanger...

But I do have some concerns:

Why would anyone pick any other class than Jedi or Sith? I just feel they will outclass everyone.

KoTOR ran so well as a single player experience. Will party mechanics or moral decisions be upset by other players in your party who disagree with which choices to make?

But the videos BioWare has posted have left me feeling pretty confident!

i guess one way to do it is make being a jedi/sith take forever, make it a progression that will take months of gaming to achieve, then when you finally become one you start over as a lvl 1 jedi/sith, so you have to work some more to become powerful.

I heard about this MMO called Vindictus I think it was, its a hack slash mmo with destructible environments but thats not the main reason i'm excited about it. Its free to play which is a big deal to me. I would love to play the star wars mmo but don't have the computer or the money for it.

I never really played MMOs apart from Guild Wars when it first came out, but I'm acctually getting hyped about The Old Republic, must be my love of all things BioWare, and Star Wars.
