I'm not sure. I just want one for the Xbox 360 because my laptop and Internet laughs at me when I try play MMOs.

I can't really get excited about MMOs anymore. They all use the same carrot on a stick boring grinding game mechanic that I cannot stand.

True, some are more egregious than others, but it is for this very reason that I am sad for the announcement of the Elder Scrolls MMO. I fear for the state of the one RPG that I really liked.

Asuran robots (awesome!), Charr (Klingons): kitties with guns (more awesome!), Sylvari tree creatures (slightly less awesome, but still extremely exciting), Norn forms: Wolf, Bear, Raven, Snow Leopard! (as if being a giant wasn't awesome enough!) and Humans'... humanity... (yeah. maybe they have something else cool to offer)

I'm interested in several of the other MMO's on the list, but being broke I can't afford to play them.

PS: how awesome is a pet cat with laser vision? too bad my picture is just a charm skill. a man can dream though...

This. Ragnar Tornquist's involvement is enough to make me desperately want it. The Longest Journey is maybe one of the best video games I've played in the past 15 years.

I wasn't originally going to vote, but since you mentioned Cataclysm ( which is an expansion ) I thought I'd drop my 2 cents too.

EVE Online has plenty of new stuff to look forward to. First of all, DUST 514 will be a console based FPS with the players as mercenaries that EVE pilots can hire for ingame money. It will be tied to the control of planets. Planned to come out within a year.

Secondly, Walking in Stations ( AKA Incarna ) is also almost ready. People can finally step out of their internet spaceships and watch exotic dancers inside the stations. It will be the first game to utilize a new clothing and hair physics technology:
