It really depends on how they updated the game engine. I have to say the non human races were just.... grotesquely ugly to me. A lot of that had to do with facial sliders and how they effected each other.

It doesn't really matter. The amount of characters that I will make will probably be in the dozens, but most of them will probably be either Nord, Arconian or Bosmer.

If melee is still as overpowered as it was in Oblivion, I'd be going with Nord, because then it kind of feels like I'm fighting for my homeland as opposed to being a hero for hire imported from Cyrodiil.

Of course, if they made magic a bit more survivable, then definitely high elf. I love me some high elf.

Redguards, because then i can half all my sword swinging skills of awesome and boost my athletics so i run around and insta-gib any monster i come near to touching. I love cheating, its so fun to just decimate and entire force of dremoras and steal their daedric weaponry.

I've never done a character that was SOLELY one type. For example, I did a mage that was a fist fighter with light armor, or a Nord with high sneak skill but was great with a blade. The closest I got was an assassin wood elf. I really want to do something like an Altmer that focuses ONLY on magic, or a redguard warrior.

Usually my Wood Elf Sniper had a pretty decent conjuration skill, too. Nothing like a spider daedra to distract everyone while I picked them off from a distance.
