2,010. 20-10 seems like we're trying too hard to make it sound like the futuristic society of the Jetsons.

Twenty ten sounds nice in my opinion.
Agreed. It just sounds much better and it's easier to say. So I say twenty-ten.

Buddy, I don't even know what DAY it is today.

I'm serious, I really should go check.

But, to answer your question, I don't refer to the year terrrrrribly often.
Unless someone asks.
And those are not the sort of people you should be talking to.

(Two thousand and ten)

Whatever grabs my fancy. Sometimes I say "it's the Hazzlefoozle year". Though twenty-ten or two thousand and ten are the common ones.

I've been saying "two-ten" in my head these last 4 days ',:/ I can see now that would be misleading to others.
I'm gonna go with twenty-ten ^^

I dunno, it depends if you want to draw it out or just be in there and done with it, when you're talking about it. TWO THOUUUUUUUUUUUUUUSAAAAAAAAAAAND AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAND TEN as opposed to TWENTY TEN! o.o

You see? Do you see? See?

Was I the only one who clicked on this thinking it might be a troll thread?

OT: two thousand and ten; sounds better to me.

But seriously, why would I refer to the year I'm in by it's number?
...Do you refer to it though the medium of dance?
Yes, I communicate entirely by typed word or dance.

What I meant was why would I say 2010 unless I'm in a different year? Even then it won't be until 2012 because in 2011 I'll say "Last year" and in 2009 I said "Next year". So I'm not going to worry about it just yet.
