Edit: Appreciate the sun, ingrates!
Man, I would'a said the same thing before my holiday in Wales. There for two weeks, nothing but sunshine (and seagull crap) EVERYWHERE. On the third week it started raining and I nearly had to be dragged inside, I was so overjoyed.
Funny thing about living in Ireland, I've noticed. It somehow makes you appreciate both the sun AND the rain.
Anyway, obligatory on - topic remark: summer is a mixed bag for me. On the one hand, summer is just
fun, y'know? But on the other hand, I have a lot more work (I'm a fisherman by trade, better weather means safer seas means another day spent on a smelly cramped boat) and I don't appreciate the heat much. So I tend to lean more on the "dislike" side of things I suppose.
