I don't know i really love the way it looks seems to have decent variety, plus I am a huge fan of Nordic culture, which adds to it.retro himself said:I'm not that excited for Skyrim, since it looks meh.

I was (and still kinda am) a big fan of Nordic culture, but Skyrim just looks like Oblivion still. There's nothing that 'pops' in the current screenshots.Ben Hussong said:I don't know i really love the way it looks seems to have decent variety, plus I am a huge fan of Nordic culture, which adds to it.
With respect, what are you doing? Not using the fast travel system? I'm at 95 hours into Oblivion and I've completed the main quest, both Shivering Isles and Nine Pilgrimage (I couldn't remember the actual quest name) as well as the Dark Brotherhood quests. Granted I've not completed the Fighters and Mage Guild quests, but where's the fun in killing rats when you're god-like?Don said:Oblivion; 400+ hours on a single character and I'm still not done. That said, I have to admit I only played the first 30 minutes of Morrowind and didn't like that bit; maybe the game gets better, but I can't say really.
The Banhammer kinda disappoints me... It's such a weak weapon. Ah well, it is a wonderful addition to my collection.Epslion.Bear said:I like Morrowind but I also like Oblivion but Morrowind edges it by still having secrets I'm still discovering
(like the Banhammer)
Same the artifacts in Oblivion were far too few in number and most of them were gained from Daedric princes and many of those kinda sucked.Ben Hussong said:I missed the artifacts from morrowind, how they were not many unique legendary weapons in Oblivion.
To be fair that felt more like a consequence of playing in Cyrodiil rather then a place like Morrowind. (The story felt too generic too, but you can't blame that on the location)Exterminas said:Morrowind.
It had an unique universe and stlye to it
A city within the carpace of a giant dead crab?
Wizzards that live in big magic mushrooms?
Cities built within clay pyramids?
You can't beat these things by slapping the Elder-Scrolls-Stamp onto a generic fantasy universe, like Oblivion did it.
