F**K Dwemer Constructs. I did a huge dungeon on my first character, the upper part being FULL of these bastards. Playing on Expert, every fight was a challenge, even with my companion. I had the tendency just to lure the damn robots into the spinning-blade traps. And those Chaurus and Falmers on the second level! Ugh! One point you enter an open room, and have to fight SEVEN of the guys, at once!

And don't get me started on that giant mini-boss robot at the end. Well, he was really easy, but still! What the hell, man? Robots in MY Skyrim? But still, he dropped some insanely kickass loot. Worst part is, I used around 20 high-level potions going through that dungeon, and I was only about level ~15 or so, which makes getting gold kinda tough.

Now that I'm level 42, the game's a bit broken. I would have said dragons, but with Dragonrend they're ludicrously easy to kill, the dual wielding power attack is crazy.
The only things that have given me trouble recently are groups, most notably triple Snow Trolls and Bears. They will mess you up.

I cannot stand the Chaurus. Friggin' pint sized tanks of rage!
My thoughts exactly. On my first account when I was exploring a friggin huge dwarven city with Aela I got ambushed by two of these and a couple of falmer. Took me about 5 attempts to finally best them and when I finally did I realised they had slaughtered Aela (probably why I still lived). I raged hard.

Can't believe no one has said mudcrabs yet.

Goddamn I hate them. Hiding below ground so all I see is the top of their shelves thinking it some sort of lootable egg/mushroom/sweetroll and then KABLAMMO I got a mudcrab in my face!

Mages. Seriously, fuck mages. They can fuck you up from such a distance before you can even get to them. It gets easier when you develop some resistance to magic and elements, but dear god they are so overpowered.

Trolls. Sure, I can one hit kill 'em now, but earlier levels they'd just heal after every arrow.

Falmer, the sneaky, poisoning bastards. Partly because of how underhanded they are, partly because their caves are usually seemingly small but turn out to be bloody massive.
Bears are horrible too, especially the Snow variety, up until level 30 or so.
I'm an arachnophobe too OP, but for some reason, Skyrim's spiders don't bother me. The ones that size rarely bother me in media. That said, Shelob was horrible.

For me, it's like this:

#1 Frostbite Spiders: I'm a major arachnophobe, so I can't even fight the giant ones while looking directly at them. I have to squint. Ugh.

I... Hhhhhaaaaaate... Spiders... Why did there have to be spiders? And why did they have to weave webs?! I can't stand webs! It's what my nightmares are weaved of! And those ceiling webholes... Those... Ceiling... Webholes! And I had just gotten over my spiderphobia in World of Warcraft, too.

I fucking hate the spiders. Also the Charaus are weird...

Giants are the worst though. They knock me out in one hit.
Just a quick hint for the arachnophobes:
There's a very popular mod out there that turns all spiders in the game into bears.
Only their appearance changes, so it doesn't mess up your game.
Go looking for it at the Skyrim Nexus (just google that).

Trolls were a nightmare early on, as were even small groups of chaurus. One chaurus I could handle, but two or more always gave me a lot of trouble. Now everything dies in one hit and I'm getting bored. I can't decide if I should up the difficulty, level skills I'm not really interested in (like sneak & bows) to increase my level and thus enemy levels, or just start over.

With my current character, none of those are really a threat in any way, but the most annoying enemy by far is still ice mages. They can spam out some serious damage and virtually freeze-lock you in place, which is a royal pain.

if you're on the PC, there is a spiderman mod for that

OT:has to be the saber cats: they attack, go out of your range of sight, you are all disoriented, and they surprise butseks you

Considering I've seen a Giant kick a Blood Dragon's arse, and a Mammoth destroy a Giant with no difficulty, the dragons and giants should probably be removed. Actually, maybe not the Dragons, since the Elder/Ancient could be a huge jump in difficulty (I've not met either yet).

I hate the Chaurus...

Ranged poison attack that drains health and stamina.

Strong melee attack that poisons, draining health and stamina (That stacks with the ranged poison causing health to drop fast)

Very hard to notice melee power attack that does a huge amount of damage.

Most of the time they are in trios so you have to fight 3 at once...

Hmmm no hated for the Wispmother? I hate those damn things. But then again on my newly rolled Thief (Only level 20) I get raped by everything.
Ice Wraiths are annoying as all hell and god forbid I get spotted by a bear, usually a case of "Leg it to the nearest town and yet the guards deal with it!"

Well, from this list the first one I can easily mark off are Giants. I never have much problem with them since I leave them alone unless they attack me (for whatever reason) or a quest requires me to kill one. Since these encounters are both few and far between, I don't have much to do with them. In fact, I think they're pretty cool, I only wish I could communicate with them someway.

Frostbite Spiders are another that doesn't bother me. They're pretty easy to deal with and I like the atmosphere of going through a cave that has spider webs and cocooned prey everywhere. They also look well done, though it'd be kinda cool if they would flip over to their backs and twist their legs when they die.

Out of the others in this list, the most annoying would be Dragons, for obvious reasons. But when one shows up, I usually go and hide in a nearby cave for awhile, 'til it pisses off so I'll pick another.

'General humanoids' - fucking mages. Magic is like my worst enemy in this game, since I currently have no magic resistance equipment. So all kinds of Forsworn mages, Necromancers and Conjurers I hate more than anything else. Bastards they are.

Skeevers too, since they're so small, you never see them in the grass or whatever, and they scare the living shit out of me when they attack me from behind or whatever. Damn.
I'm with you on the fucking mages, at the moment every mage I run into has about 1200 health and insta-kill fireballs.

Well, I hate the Forsworn, but not because they're tough enemies or something, because they're not. I hate them because they piss me off to no end. They are simply so barbaric! In all their encampments you see evidence of absolutely abhorrent rituals taking place, and these people actually want their own kingdom. Nope. Not while the Dragonborn lives.

As for the enemies I have the most trouble dealing with, any ice mage, since I'm a Dunmer and for some reason have not yet enchanted my armor with any sort of resistances....yeah, not very smart. A strong ice mage spells death for me. Very quick death.
Also, the Falmer in the second-last Thieves Guild mission. They weren't tough, but there were SO MANY of them. Dozens in a single cave. Ridiculous. And the worst part was that there was no way to sneak your way through if you didn't tell your allies to stay back, they are simply the worst sneakers ever. But I have to say that I had a lot of fun there once I decided to go on my own, it's incredibly rewarding to sneak and assassinate the Falmer one by one until the entire cave is cleared and nobody noticed until it was too late...and using that Dwarven Centurion Master as a diversion was also fun, although it died after less than five seconds and didn't kill a single Falmer.

Edit: I just remembered the Draugr. They weren't very annoying until recently, but now every single Draugr is a Scourge. Not fun. Not at all. And the only ones that are not Scourges are Deathlords....
